Corporate Relocation
Corporate Moves include everything from moving an executive to a different floor of a building, to moving entire corporate operations from one city to another. Regardless of the size of the move it requires special detailed planning, and most people are unfamiliar with how to prepare.
When you plan a Corporate Move. The major goal is to be as time-efficient and as cost-effective as possible.
You can accomplish this by having a complete knowledge of what your new location looks like, and where every piece of equipment and or furniture will be placed. The most helpful tool is to create an exact floor plan of your new office, including your employee names and the exact location of their new workstations and offices.
The moving company representative then gets a copy of this plan, and either hands it to his workers or hangs copies on major doors and walls in the new location. Such organization will direct the workers to the right spot immediately, and will save a great deal of time.
You should also have your employees write their names and contents on their belonings and boxes. Labeling is a key part of moving offices. Use color-coded labels on each piece that needs to be moved. The specific employee should use the same color for furniture and boxes.

Local moves are charged based on an hourly rate as well as travel time. The only charge beside the hourly rate is for packing materials. Unlike most companies, we do not charge extra for weekends, holidays or stairs, unless you have extremely large and heavy item(s) such as a piano.Moves are charged a competitive hourly rate, determined by the number of movers and trucks required for the move. Cutting edge operates up-to-date moving trucks equipped with the latest in safety features and moving equipment.
The Hourly Rate depends on the number of movers and trucks required. We use a three-man crew for basic moves, but recommend at least a four-man crew when moving to or from a third, fourth, or fifth walkup. Work time starts when the crew arrives at your pick-up location. Work time stops when the goods are unloaded at the drop-off location and the crew is ready to leave.
Travel Time is added to work time and is applied to compensate for the time it takes the crew to come to your pick-up location and then to return after the move is done. For local job travel time ranges from a half hour to an hour, no matter where the pick-up and drop-off locations are, as long as they are in the Local Zone. .

A long distance move is a move that is farther than 100-miles from the point of origin or one which crosses a state line. Charges for all long distance moves are based on cubic feet or weight and mileage, plus any additional services you may require. Also a flat rate is available for a long distance moves.
Most of us probably don't know the exact total weight of our belongings. In order to determine an approximate weight of your shipment, you can fill out our on-line estimate form or let our long distance move specialists provide you with an estimate. This will help you with your budget plan.
