The Attact of Satan in Sri Lanka
Dear friends,
Yesterday we worked in Muslim, and Buddhist camp doing medical. The needs so great and the people so desiring a touch of compassion. Many came and showed me pictures of what they say is their missing children. My heart has a hard time containing the tears. I could see me holding a photo of my love ones, and I know it is only the grace of God that gives us each day. They were eager to see the film. We sent up on the edge of the camp. Wayne worked hard getting all things right. He has been such a blessing. His heart has only one desire to serve, and he serves with joy. The children sat and watched veggie tails till all things were as we wanted them. a Buddhist leader came and was very angry, threaten us and left abruptly. I soon followed his direction. I found him talking with the military. He seen me and became angry and very nervous. I asked him: "Do you have something to say to me?. He responded in anger yes, and told how in many countries Christians were taking advant! age showing this Jesus film, and that it was upsetting many. He started to0 tell me that we do not want this. I stopped him, and said, do not say we, you, do not want it. Do not speak for these people. The military man looked at me with surprise and I asked him is their no freedom, do not these people have a right to hear and see what they want. do they not have a right to choose? He did not answer me the question just said that it was a refuge camp out of his control. I walked away, not knowing what they would do. I went back and we started the film, and showed more of the cartoons. The military came and soon as they heard the name of Jesus they said we must stop. The pastors son, said he would go and talk with the government so today we are praying God will make away. If they say no we will go on the outskirts, were there is not much military presents and see what will happen. However many received world Missionary press scripture booklets, over two hundred asked for them. So! God's word is going out regardless of the father of lies. Prayer Requist:
1. Bro. Tom Faunce is returning to South East Asia, pray for finance, supplies and his protecton. Also Pray for His Family.
2 Dr. Bill Grieser is back in Myanmar (Burma). His Ministry is based in Yangon, Myanmar. He oversees 80 orphanag's in the country with Dr. Doll and National Pastor's. Pray for the needs of this ministry (Visit Bill's Web Page on our link page: Myanmar Compassion Proyect, also known in USA as Asia Compassion Proyect).
3. Pray for all Christian in the Tsunami hit regiones, also for grups prepareing to go!
