IN THE MIND OF THE POPS 74

<>5-30-11: It's a beautiful day outside...There doesn't seem to be a sign of rain..Jeeze, I hope I don't jinx us...There's a garbage in my yard which is better than half full of rainwater from the last three or four days..I haven't been watching much TV or tracking the weather, but there has to be some kind of record...I guess the highlight of my weekend was a "Fools" jam on Saturday...I was particularly happy with Joe Marino's guitar tones..Joe delivered the goods and it was his evening to shine...Joe had that look in his eye and did not want to take a break..I love that, because I'm not overly fond of breaks neither...Not to take anything from the other members of the group but Saturday was "Joe Marino Day" in my book....Well, Technically the holiday weekend isn't over yet, so I'm hoping to jam with some cats tonight...If not, I'll operate in my own jam room and maybe even write a song.....Go Redsox!!<>

<>5-31-11: Some say, "It's lonely at the top"..Well I have news for you..It's equally as lonely at the bottom...I know this from experiences at both ends...I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me..My biggest wish is for my kids to make it in life, and I want to be best remembered for the good things I have done in my life...This is not a suicide note, but I can feel my life getting sucked right out of me for only God knows really why.....Let sweet, sweet music fill the air and joy be with you all..<>

<>6-1-11: Nice day today in these parts..Sunny, breezy, and warm..The perfect combo if you ask me....I feel a little better today than yesterday...It's just so tough sometimes...My body has been through so much that it's impossible for me to work as a laborer...There's so much titanium in my body that I'd probably light up a metal detector and get mugged by law enforcements...I'm live in physical pain every day...I guess I've kind of grown used to it to a certain degree...I barely make squat as a musician who has to rely on others for transportation...Finding a job is hard enough, let alone one that won't land me up in the hospital...The cost of living is beyond insane...How are families supposed to get by with the rising cost of everything and try to squeeze a little family entertainment entertainment, kids in activities, sports, dance etc..It about kills me to not be able to send my youngest daughter to dance anymore..She puts on her costumes and dances in the her room about every day...It's so frustrating it hurts far more than my physical pain......I know I'm not alone...The last time I applied for assistance, I saw old acquaintances that appeared pretty well to do years back..Oh my, how the times have changed for so many....Something has to give in this screwed up country....And if you have a decent job, consider that a blessing and never down those who are less fortunate...It could come back to bite you..<>

<>6-2-11: I ran some errands today and I rode many buses...At one point I got off the bus at the wrong stop...Yes are differences between parkways and avenues in the same town...Yep, I was lost with no payphones in sight...I hadn't been truly lost in a long time which was kind of cool...After a five mile walk, I decided to stop at a Tim Horton's and was not only given accurate directions, but a dude reading a newspaper over-heard our conversation and offered me a ride to where I had to go...Getting back home eventually landed me on a Bailey Bus of which I rode it's entire route...Talk about a trip down memory lane......And Master Pizza is still in operation at Bailey and Doat...I may have eaten my first ever pizza from there? ...I'm gonna stop there for lunch one day, just because......<>

<>6-4-11: Yesterday, while strutting to our local "Save A Lot" store, I ran into a fellow local musician who happens to be looking for a Paul Rodgers style vocalist, to sing in a newly forming classic rock band, which also is in the process of writing new songs...The dude said he's gonna call me as soon as he can find a date to fit everyone in the band's schedules to audition me....Paul Rogers has sang for the likes of "Free", "Bad Company", "The Firm" (With Jimmy Page) and "Queen" too, and there's a number of other songs from other bands they'd like to take for a spin....I'm excited, but not getting my hopes up.....In the words of David Lee Roth "Here today, Gone later in the day"...Not only for Mr. Roth does that saying hold true...So, In the words of Mick Jaggar "I got no expectations".....But damn it already!! I hope something cool is in the works that I can be a part of here..<>

<>6-6-11:Let's see..Bin Laden's dead, or so we've been told, gas prices are on the rise, and The United States is still at war with no end in sight...I'm no genius by any "stretch", but this doesn't add up...Well nothing seems to add up with politics at ALL levels.

No follow-ups on any musical leads as of yet...Seems like I'm always at the drawing board, However, there always seems to be good stuff cooking there..Gonna wait it out a few days and take care of some family business, before I get backed up with that stuff again...So for now the feelers are out there, I'm always finding new things to do with my voice which to me is very cool....I may soon be entering my prime...Hmmm, That's kind of scary in a good way..<>

<>6-9-11: My dad (the ageless wonder) celebrated his birthday on Tuesday...Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to speak with him directly, only left him a greeting on his answering machine...Hopefully, I'll catch up with him over the weekend sometime.......Also, Another audition is in the works...This one seems like it's actually gonna happen...Been in touch with a very enthusiastic guitarist every day...I dig the song list and overall I'm feeling a good vibe about this one...Now, Back to my homework..<>

<>6-13-11: It was a fun weekend of jammin....I was in Lockport on Friday for an audition which suddenly became another musical family jam in my life...I love to play in those type of situations...I hope they have me back for more..Nice vibes!! .....Last night was a "Four Aces Jam" and yet another nice session...There were some of the usual suspects as well as some new blood (to me anyway)...All in all it was a jazz-funk-blues and everyone (for the very most part) was on the same page and the grooves were tight...Well, It's morning time, just saw my kids off to school...I will soon finally go to sleep for a while, reflecting, wondering, looking ahead, and smiling my way to snooze land, recharging my batteries for some family business later this afternoon..<>

<>6-15-11: Been up all night again, tightening up another arrangement, which still needs work, like so many I have here...........Anyway, Before my son went to bed last night, he offered to move a bunch of garbage that we cleaned from the shed in the backyard from the side of the house to the curb...I just put another bag of trash out...I think I will once again hiding from the garbage men..There is a lot out there again...All my son wanted in return was ice cream from the Noco Express Shop near our home...Half gallons or the comparable metric size was on sale...He'll probably have some for breakfast before he leaves for school, which is fine with me..<>

<>6-19-11: Been busy with jam sessions of late..."The Fools" (one of the bands I'm in) welcome a new drummer named Nick...After our first session with him, Nick made an immediate impact...I hope he hangs around because truly adds an element of stability that I never realized we were missing...Once again, I'm not gonna get my hopes too high, but I sure plan on enjoying the hell out of this current lineup while we have it...It's Father's Day and I thank the lord and knock on wood that dear old dad is still around and kickin after bypass surgery and a bout with cancer ...Most of the friends I have in my age group already lost their dads and I feel for all of them...I can only imagine the hurt...I would be alright with dumping the holiday, as I would most holidays...Yeah they stimulate the economy but more times than not, holidays cause hurt, so I only recognize the ones I have to...But I will indeed get in contact with my dad later today...He's a cool dude with great advice...............Clarence Clemons, Rest in Peace..<>

<>6-20-11: Life goes on here at "Fort Stretch"....Still waiting to hear back from a couple of musicians, but if I was holding my breath, I'd be at those pearly gates....I have to say that "The Fools" with Drummer Nick, appear to have all parts in place...There's some serious chemistry in that operation.....I haven't heard from "The Shadow".....I'd really like to get his perspective....He's like the smartest dude in the world........Go RedSox !!<>

<>6-21-11: Well it's officially summer or will be a little later...I'm just hangin out here at home (everyone sleeping) dealing with seasonal allergies...Not sure if it's pre or post nasal drip...Either way, I ran out of tissue and got me that trusty ole roll of toilet paper on my desk waiting for the next gob...Nothing new to report on the music front...Only sang to some voice mails to keep myself amused...Waiting on confirmation of another "Fools Jam" and would also love to jam with those folks in Lockport again...The first and only session I had with those cats was way cool.....Well, to me anyway..<>

<>6-24-11: I've never really been one for sheet music stands on stage...I prefer actually learning the songs, or create my own rendition...Especially now that I wear reading glasses at home while learning, and I really don't play anything really complex anyway...Lost in all this are songs that I've written in recent years...It may seem kind of strange, but after I've completed an original song, I still have to learn that tune...Yes, I have to learn and sometimes relearn my own songs, otherwise they slip into temporary obscurity...This is all likely more common than I realize, I think??..<>

<>6-26-11: Best Birthday Wishes to my sister Joann, who is keeping the state of California honest..Love you Siss!! ......Got a Fools Jam today...Bring it on !!..<>

<>6-28-11: It's the wee hours and humid in these parts and everyone is awake here and miserable except my oldest daughter who has the air conditioned suite here...She's a deserving soul being a star student at school which speaks very loud in my book as a proud dad.....There are electric fans in the rest of the house that appear to be blowing hot air around the house....I plan on running errands after I sleep, if sleep ever happens...Dang !! There is someone right now parked across the street leaving hip hop music blaring to the the point that windows are rattling, which is truly annoying...Time to go on my porch and let my presents be known..<>

<>6-29-11: For those of you who ever underestimated my maintenance skills, Chew on this...I installed a brand new toilet seat here at home...I'm so proud of myself...No more sliding off the bowl when trying to take a dump...Can I get a YEAH BABY or what? I am such a bad ass..<>

<>6-30-11: Most of us here at home are dealing with Summer Colds...Just might have to buy cleanex tissues by the case if something don't give here soon...Yeah, It's the wee hours and I'm drinking more water than usual, with hopes of kicking this ASAP...I'll try a night cap in the form of a cup of hot green tea....Feeling like a line from "Aqualung"......Somebody please pinch me..........The Sabres are making some serious noise this off season...The team already has speed, now they are going after players who can shoot the puck..YAY!! ...Looks like Darcy FINALLY has the green light to spend....I'd still like to see the Sabres acquire a goon from hell to keep the opposition thinking twice about taking cheap shots, which has been a big problem since Rob Ray is no longer keeping the peace......And that's been a long time already..<>

<>7-1-11: I gotta confess to being "NHL Western Conference Illiterate" ....Some of the names being tossed around the media superstars who's names I haven't learn to spell yet...My son knows all these guys and has nothing but great things to say about the way the Sabres are doing business...Sonny Boy is up snuff with everything that's going on in the world of sports, so I don't doubt his word for a second...He's a STATS guy and I love it...Another generation of sports lovers carrying the last name...I can't help but be proud of my boy....Loves his street hockey, playing defense, will will drop the gloves when the line drawn has been crossed.......Anyway, I jammed with Paulie and Scotty Boy last night....The session was short but was sweet jammin' time........And Best birthday wishes to my old pal, Mike Borowiak.....Hey!! Everyone enjoy your holiday weekend and pray that our dear president starts bringing home our troops as he's promised so many times..<>

<>7-2-11: Just when I was starting to think that I was "Joe Maintenance Man", the damn toilet seat cover broke off !! The seat is still in place, but the cover broke off....Family Dollar is the best..<>

<>7-3-11: Last night, It took a little more phone work than usual, but we managed to put together an abbreviated "Fools Jam" ...Thanks to Scotty Boy and Pete DaMeat for filling in on drums...It worked out pretty well...The levels were right on and and that's half the battle...The Fools rock !!..<>

<>7-4-11: Well it's Independence Day in the good ole USA...The weather is supposed to be beautiful all day here in Western, New York...I didn't make any plans...I'm not big on big advanced plans...I like to wait it out till the day arrives and roll with the best and most convenient situation...This way I'm not stiffing anyone and I take a nice light hearted approach to whatever day it happens to be...With the exception of my wedding anniversary...Contrary to popular belief,, I value my life.......Hey Now, Enjoy your holiday, even if it doesn't measure up to your expectations,, Make the best of it................Best Birthday Wishes to Ted Reinhardt..<>

<>7-5-11: It's the very wee hours as the sun should be rising in an hour or so...There are still intoxicated people yelling and blowing off fireworks near my house...I guess I'm getting some more of my teenage misbehaving coming back to bite me.......I kind of hate to see these long weekends come to an end...I blew off Friday's family business phone work (which really has to be done) and back to the reality grind today....Hopefully jammin' tonight..<>

<>7-7-11: Another day has begun without sleep, but a shower seems to have help me get another wind, as I'm almost caught up with phone work....Hmmm, Just a second ago it hit me...There is always unfinished business, which intern means that there will always be phone work......Now that we're straight on that, The last of my male cats is getting fixed today...He's only five months old so he will get snipped before the male cat spraying thing starts...Talk about "nipping a problem right in the balls"..(old expression).....Anyway, I'm gonna grab a nap for a little while and go from there...I wasn't tired a minute ago......Well, No real agenda today....Hoping to jam this evening..<>

<>7-9-11: Had a "Fools" band meeting yesterday, in preparation for a "Fools Jam" this evening...Yeah Baby!!..<>

<>7-10-11: Very hot in these parts..Hoping for a little rain to keep the plant life living....Seems like whenever I hope for rain, I get caught in it......Moving right along, Best Birthday Wishes to "the real" Mike & Mike.....Brotha Mike Lubecki & Best Man at My Wedding, Mike Rodas, who are both ageless..<>

<>7-12-11: As of today, All my kids are teenagers..Good Heavens!! ...Loving Birthday Wishes to my daughter Melinda...She's going to stay local, while my older two will be checking out "Warp Tour" at Darien Lake.......Geddy Lee (Rush) sang "Time Stands Still".....No it doesn't!!..<>

<>7-14-11: I spoke with a friend, who brought to my attention, that's it's been nearly 5 years since "The Stretch Limo Ride" has performed...This has got to change!! Though nobody in the group is on bad terms, it seems as though life has got in the way of this 4 piece powerhouse...I don't know what it will take to get these guys to at very least, do one more for the gipper.....Do I have B.O. or something??..<>

<>7-16-11: It's an early Saturday morning and doing some chores with hopes of not waking anyone here....I fell asleep watching "the Foo Fighters" last night which set me up to wake up at 2am or so board out of my scull...I played guitar, doing mostly finger exercises for a half hour or so, then give the guitar a little cleaning, changed batteries and strings while doing laundry...So now the last load of laundry is in the dryer, but I'm sure there will be more once people start waking up here..........Fools Jam this evening..<>

<>7-17-11: I learned early this morning of the passing of a very dear friend....Terry Smith, who many of you will remember as that sweet little barmaid at (the now closed down) "Corsi's Place" in Lackawanna...This girl had my back through thick and thin...God only knows the sorrow I feel at the moment........I'm hoping to hit "Four Aces" open jam today...I REALLY need it!!..<>

<>7-19-11: With the recent loss of friends, I am in serious protect mode...With these extremely hot temperatures comes the serious threat of heat stroke/dehydration....Booze dehydrates, so drink your fair share of water...Pepsi and other carbonated beverages also dehydrate....Gaterade (NOT MIXED WITH BOOZE!) helps, but water is your best bet at beating the heat...TRUST ME!!......And don't forget the kiddos...If you can't get them to drink water, lemonade, iced tea are encouraged...NO POP!!....And finally, Keep your pet's water bowl full...This extreme heat is nothing to take lightly......Everybody in the shade!!..<>

<>7-20-11: Don't look now, but we're well on our way to August...I guess The 4th of July is kinda like summer's hump day......I guess I'm in a far better frame of mind today, But HEY!! I believe it's better to be overprotective than under-protective........Need to jam..<>

<>7-22-11: A whole lot of "Fools Jam" goin' on this weekend.....Stay Cool......Go RedSox!!..<>

<>7-25-11: My weekend was chock full of jammin' with the Fools...Now it's Monday, and it rained like hell this morning and yes a new leak in the roof has come to view...Toddd Willard sings "The Roof only Leaks when it Rains".....Meanwhile, I have errands to run..<>

<>7-26-11: Happy Birthday, Mick "FUCKING" Jagger, who today turns 68 years young..<>

<>7-28-11: I'm diggin' the comfortable weather.....Not diggin' being screwed by "American Freight" (a furniture store)....But I've got enough other crap to lose sleep over....Better yet..You guessed it...I need to jam!!..<>

<>8-1-11: To think 30 years ago today, MTV was born and time for The Buggles among other bands, cash in with a big change in times...Punk Rock/New Wave bands were now in the mainstream...Politics took a sharp turn for the worse...It seemed as though a new way of thinking was born...Computer courses were the classes to grab...I started dabbling with computers in 1999 and today, I have mixed emotions about the whole concept...I like having information at my fingertips, but I'm not fond of big brother knowing what we buy and from where...GPS machines tracking where we drive....I guess I prefer the simple life......When it's affordable....Happy Birthday MTV...You still suck..<>

<>8-3-11: Yesterday evening, my youngest daughter & I attended our local "National Night Out"....I enjoyed the police dog demonstration...I guess I'm partial to German Sheppards....Such great dogs...Anyway, My daughter had fun...There were free hot dogs and root beer...As far as my hot dog consumption, I wasn't keeping count, but I put a significant dent in their inventory.....Ran a bunch of errands today...I'm barely slept last night, so I'm hoping to get to sleep at a reasonable hour and sleep through the night....But I'm not overly optimistic about anything, let alone a good night of sleep......Go Redsox!!..<>

<>8-4-11: Please send your prayers and positive vibes to Irene Lagattuta (Joe's mom) who is now on life support, My mother-in-law - Gloria Weiskopff, who's had serious health issues for a while now, and suffered a broken leg and had surgery last night to insert a titanium rod...Boy can I relate to that....And my own mother - Dolores, who has numerous complications and I'm awaiting further word on her conditions....I have three other friends with mothers suffering from the advanced stages Alzheimer's Disease....I don't know if they want the would want me to go public with this info, so I'll leave out their names for now...Pray away my friends!!...And I REALLY need to jam..<>

<>6-8-11: To think the fair starts next week....The Summer of 2011 is almost history...A few more bookings wouldn't hurt...Though last night's stage volume was too loud...And I forgot my earplugs like a dummy...I STILL have a headache that's seemingly drug and meditation proof..<>

<>8-9-11: I am getting slammed with ideas for new songs....But I STILL don't have a recording machine.....MY BAD!!..<>

<>8-10-11: Seventeen years ago today, My first child was born, and I think I'm still in shock.....Happy Birthday Leanna!!..<>

<>8-18-11: My computer done died...Thank God for libraries...I can't help but wonder if internet accessability is keeping libraries open...It wasn't long ago that the future of libraries was not so bright....I just might borrow a book while I'm here..<>

<>9-3-11: It's Labor Day Weekend and I find myself without a band again...I hate egotistic musicians, road managers, booking agents, etc...But I'll be back...I can't imagine life without jam.....BTW, I think I got past internet withdrawal..YAY!!..<>

<>9-10-11: I'm liking this Lackawanna Library...Nice people here...Beautiful day...Just might find a nice tree to sit under and play guitar......Go Bills!!..<>

<>9-13-11: Being a registered independent, my options were very limited, while voting today in the primaries...So I wish Harry Sach, Mike Hunt and Dick Hurtz in this election..<>

<>9-23-11: Been running a ton of errands of late...I saw my shrink today...It was kind of funny listening to a Chinese guy speaking Polish....Now that all of that is out of the way, I gotta see if any of my buds are jammin tonight..<>

<>10-5-11: I guess the days of independent musicians hustling one's own gigs are long gone...I need to get past my dislike for booking agents and bend over....I just want to play...Whatever money I make is a bonus....with or without a band.........To my grandmother-in-law Alice..Rest in Peace..<>

<>10-8-11: Sabres looked good yesterday. On paper, the team SHOULD be a be for real...They filled a lot of holes this past off season...I'll spend my afternoon watching them play on TV from Germany and likely will be jammin this evening, with a catnap in between....Yeah Baby!!..<>

<>10-10-11: It was a beautiful weekend for both Bills fans and Sabres fans alike...Poor Mike (the dog killer) Vick loses at the helm...Vick has too many people believing he's remorseful etc.. The fact is that without snowing the NFL into reinstatement, his life would have likely landed him in the gutter...To hell with Mike Vick...We've got action here in Buffalo with the Bills and Sabres...This is good stuff..<>

<>10-13-11: I'll be running errands all day tomorrow...I had one of those untimely extended naps today, so I'll likely be awake all night...If I'm not jammin, I'll be groovin to the Sabres after all that running around is complete.....Finally this evening: Dear God, please slow down on taking my dear friends away...These funeral homes are killing me.....Go Sabres!!..<>

<>10-17-11: Been auditioning musicians for another band in the works...Some tuff decisions happing....I will NOT leave anyone hanging....I know too well how that crap feels...I'm in way too deep to ever quit..<>

<>10-20-11: A couple days ago I was carrying home a large quanity of groceries and I must have pulled a muscle in my back or something...I felt a twisting feeling in my upper back, but kept walking and once I arrived home, I set my groceries down, then the pain struck...I feel lots better today, so it's back to business as unusual.....Go Sabres!!..<>

<>10-22-11: My back is feeling better...I guess conga therapy is a factor in my recovery...Last night, I had a nice acoustic jam with a very talented guitarist named Rich Tucker, afterwords went out out to catch a set of "Ron Steel and The Morning After Pill" at Sages in Lackawanna...I'm very proud to have these guys in my musical family...I am unsure about tonight as I'm waiting for the cobwebs to clear in my head..<>

<>10-26-11: The pieces are nearly in place for a new band.......Generally, I feeling more and more as though sensationalism is the norm......As human beings, we need to see beyond all of that and do the right thing...It's good to be a posative role model....Sensationalism = Bullshit..<>

<>10-27-11: Unless I receive a phone call regarding a jam session or meeting, the plan is to stay home and watch the Sabres game....and watch Beavis and Butthead afterwords...eh eh..<>

<>10-30-11: After watching the Sabres choke last night, I found myself being the last one awake here at home, wondering about some old friends and family that I haven't heard from in a while...I sang a prayer, went to sleep...Gonna watch the Bills game today (with no expectations) and will likely hit "Four Aces Open Jam" this evening...I need to jam..<>

<>10-31-11: I couldn't make to the jam last night....However, I worked out a way to sing a tune that I was trying to sing like the original artist...I think my way is better...Sometimes it's tough to be humble......I'm going trick or treating with my younger daughter (a penguin) this evening....Happy Halloween..<>

<>11-2-11: Tonight my 36 year grudge with The Flyers continues.....Go Sabres!!..<>

<>11-7-11: The upper back pain has resurfaced...I really don't want to go to the hospital...Hmmm, It never hurts when I'm on stage...Perhaps "mind over matter"?? ....I'll ask my counselor tomoworrow after I'm through voting in another fixed election...or so it seems..<>

<>11-9-11: After running errands yesterday, I jammed with Toddd Willard for the first time in a while....Toddd was kind enough to hook me up with the makings of a new song that is truly growing on me..Unfortunatly our session was cut short, being that I had a date with my younger daughter to deliver girl scout cookies...Anyway I've got some musical homework that I'll give a run today...My hope is to have a follow-up jam Toddd, sooner than later..<>

<>11-14-11: Last night I had a great session with "The Fools"....We are in the process of booking gigs in the area...Someone other than me handling the leg-work...YAY!!! ..I just got back from Downtown Buffalo running yet more errands, including getting some help with my electic bill, which took up most of my morning and afternoon, but it was well worth getting the help.....Tonight I will likely chill at home and watch the Miller-less Sabres, but things have their way of changing with little if any notice...Though lacking sleep, I wanna jam!!..<>

<>11-17-11: The man who coined the phrase "You don't have to defend your credentials" Justin J. Michalek, left the building this past Sunday...Justin was probably the biggest music fan I ever knew, who didn't play an instrument and most of all a great friend, who will be missed by many...This sucks!!...I need to jam!!..<>

<>11-23-11: Hung out and jammed with Toddd Willard last night...I was so wired on coffee I was awake all night and actually didn't fall asleep till mid afternoon today...Such is life...Happy Thanksgiving..<>

<>11-28-11: It was a way cool weekend celebrating the birth of Jimi, Got to hang out with my old friend Dave, Jammed with the fools....Now that the weekend is in the books, What a drag it is being poor..<>

<>11-30-11: Regardless of the Sabres loss to The Islanders, It was cool checking out the young prospects up from the farm in Rochester for a couple of games....Back to the real world, I have some work to do on a set of congas, that I haven't brought out for quite some time..<>

<>12-3-11: Have you ever felt like you were on the outside looking in? If so, You are not alone..<>

<>12-8-11: I'm now on a bit of a hot streak, writing songs...Gonna ride the wave, practice, practice, practice.....Also wanna thank all of you fine folks who came out to Bokan's last Saturday....YOU GUYS ROCK!!..<>

<>12-10-11: YAY!!! It's snowing in Lackawanna....Though I am exited (for now) about the snow, I'm not so exited about having to see the doc(s).....I guess I've always had a bit of a fear for the unknown.....I need to jam..<>

<>12-12-11: Everything appears to be OK with my health issue...The stool softener is the difference maker....There will be a follow-up next week to be on the safe side, and I've made the necessary alterations to my diet...I still refuse to be over 50...This is the spirit of which I live by and always will...Tomorrow is both my mom's and Jim Wynne's (my son's godfather) birthdays...How cool is that? ...And congratulations to Jim for being inducted into "The Buffalo Music Hall of Fame" a few days ago..<>

<>12-14-11: It's so wonderful to be a sports fan in Buffalo...I it high time for coaching and general manager changes for both the Bills and Sabres....The bleeding must stop already...I'm sure I'm sharing the seniments of many..<>

<>12-17-11: As a (warm weather) bicyclist, I know first hand that (for the very most part) driving and cell phone use are not a good mixter...Many times, I've had to scream at drivers who were so involved in their conversations on those damn phones, so I wouldn't end up as road pizza..What turn signal? ..I'm not a fan of new laws, but this is one area for the drivers at large cannot handle this issue on they're own....If you really must yap on the phone, PULL OVER!! ..DUH!!.....Tomorrow, Keith Richards turns 68 years of age..<>

<>12-20-11: I've been offically welcomed to "Toddd TV" (television made affordable)....I feel as though I've been given a new lease on life.......Well, till I have to give Toddd is antennas back......Oh yeah,, NEVER compliment a store owner for low prices.....And finally today,, I need to jam..<>

<>12-22-11: Friends and some family members have been and continue to come through for my family members in what appears at the surface to be in small ways, but time has proven these random acts to be very large in my life....I am truly grateful to all of you..<>

<>12-27-11: At the moment, I'm tapped out of New Years Resolutions....So I have no promices for anyone,,,but I have high hopes for the coming year........And I need to jam..<>

<>12-29-11: Last night, I had a cool session with Mr. Willard...I always leave his house with homework...What are friends for? ..Speaking of friends, Today is my long time friend, Ray Lubecki's birthday...Ray & I go back to the same delivery room at Sister's Hospital...I guess we've been friends for a while, with my birthday being New Years Eve...Once again, December's Children are a special breed...If I remember right, Ray was one ugly looking baby....BTW, "The Stretch Limo Ride" will soon be back in the studio..YAY!!!!..<>

<>1-3-12: I do NOT miss the single digit tempatures, but it was bound to happen here in Western New York.......With negotiations seemingly gone south, I believe the Sabres should buy their own sports network to broadcast Sabres games and other local sports, much like the old "Empire Sports Network"....To hell with msg, unless it's in my Chinese food.......and "The Stretch Limo Ride" is rolling again....YEAH BABY!!..<>

<>1-4-12: Mike Lasek of "The Stretch Limo Ride" dug up some recordings of rehearsals which in his words is "good shit"...Old forgotten jams, which we plan on bringing to life in the form of new songs...Between this band and other projects, a great year is taking form..<>

<>1-7-12: I've been feeling a bit run down...Kind of like a cold is coming on...I wish I knew what it was like to sleep an eight hour stretch again.......NO, I'M NOT GETTING OLD!!..<>

<>1-9-12: I bit into a slice of pizza the other day and a piece of one of my teeth broke off....It hurts...I'll need to make an appointment to deal with that....The going has been rather tough of late, but it felt great to perform at "Four Aces" last night....When I'm on stage, nothing hurts..<>

<>1-11-12: I made an appointment to see a dentist, who is very close to home...Hey, when there's no travel expences and everything can be done under one roof, works for me...I'm also feeling cold symptoms...I felt kind of worn down and though I tried fighting it with massive ammounts of water, I'm down for a couple of days...Hopefully, I'll be back in action by the weekend...Go Sabres..Yeah right..<>

<>1-19-12: I had some teeth yanked out of my head a couple days ago by our neighborhood horse doctor...It was a brutal experience, but I'm now so ready to jam..<>

<>1-23-12: I just returned from the E.R. after complictions with medication that I've been taking for years...Hats off to the doctor who was spot on with his treatment...So with that behind me and feeling much better now that my mouth is just about healed after my dental adventure last week.....It's Wifie's turn tomorrow...She will FINALLY have surgery on her broken foot...The world of modern medicine is like a box of chocolate..<>

<>2-1-12: I've been keeping close to home since Wifie's surgery...The doctors removed some bone from her hip and used that bone to fuse it with bones in her damaged foot...She's layed up and I'm surving as a nurse and housekeeper..She's a hurting unit.....However, I'm jammin with "The Fools" whenever I can, prepping for a very large birthday party in a couple weeks...........Rest in Peace - Don Cornelius..<>

<>2-2-12: The Buffalo Sabres are an evil empire.....So are The Bills, for the matter........And I could care less about the Superbowl or Madonna.....I just need to jam!!<>
