ABOUT OUR PASTRY CHEF:
Master Pastry Chef Roberto born in Viareggio located within the Region of Tuscany, a charmed and equally blessed by the genius of man and nature, and often by the combined efforts of both. Tuscany still enchants us today because it holds together as a region, from the tiniest hamlet to Florence the Magnificent.
PAN'E DOLCI HISTORY:
Pieri E. Pazzini back in the early 80's was where Roberto learned good qualities of bread making, in Tuscany. Specializing in wedding cakes, Italian specialty desserts, cookies, cakes and breads. Roberto then had a great opportunity to assist the Master Pastry Chef aboard Princess Line Cruises. While employed there for four years, Roberto mastered the duties of Pastry Chef/1st Baker. In 1991, he then relocated to Seattle, WA where he worked at Settebello Restaurant and Bakery. He was then recruited to help open and manage a brand new bakery, called Sandro's Dessert in Las Vegas, NV. Then relocated to sunny South Florida where he was the Pastry Chef/Baker as well as manager of Gran Forno's Las Olas Blvd., Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Leaving Gran Forno to pursue his dream of opening his very own Bakery.
OUR STANDARDS:
Pan'e Dolci only serves the finest of fresh ingredients, all hand made baked goods breads and pastries. Pan'e Dolci also has major accounts set-up with local restaurants within the Ft. Lauderdale area which serve our tasty pastries and fresh breads daily.
