FAIRY SIGHTINGS
Since this month is the first month of this website, then I'll tell you about my fairy sightings.
When I was eleven, I started to get very interested in faeries. Me and my best friend Kayla Golub started writing to them, and we finally got letters back, saying to go to the Enchanted Forest. We had no idea where this was. Fortunatley, Logan, Kayla's older brother, showed us.
It was late at night time, and we were slowly walking towards the large clump of trees near the edge of the road. About halfway there, we heard a loud POP! Kayla and I screamed, not knowing where the pop was coming from. Logan also looked scared, and told us it was only the gnomes, trying to freak us out.
We finally got to the forest, went in, and sat down on a tree trunk. It was completely quiet. Around us were several fairy rings, singing silent music. We left our letters in a likely looking tree, and set off back home.
On the way, in the middle of the forest, i heard a soft fluttering. I looked up, and there I saw the most peculiar thing. A delicate little creature was sitting on a branch. I knew right away that it was a fairy. It noticed me looking at it, and flew away.
I haven't seen any since, probably because the weather has turned scorching hot. I'm hoping to spot another one soon!
POEM OF THE MONTH!
THE FAERIES
A creature small and fragile
a creature pale and thin
a creature pretty and kind
a creature from within.
A teeny tiny figure,
with pink rosebud hair rings,
a soft, light footfall,
and tiny gossamer wings.
They sleep in tulips and roses,
with petals that cover their knees,
with little reins, and little canes,
they ride little bumble bees.
This creature can not be seen,
in it you can only believe,
its how you think, how you see,
very much how you perceive.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
What do faeries look like?
Faeries come in all shapes and sizes. The most common looking faerie would have any skin colour, always a soft, glowing tone. Hair is any colour, like the skin. Their clothes are usually made of spider silk, but fashions vary as those in the human world.
Where do Faeries live?
Faeries live all over the world. The most common places are England,Ireland, or Wales. They only live in the country.
How do you make contact with faeries?
Faeries choose you, you don't choose them. Start writing polite and friendly notes, using natural paper, and giving them gifts like cake, pebbles, or shiny objects.
When the faeries start to write back, it means you are excepted. If they do not write in 2 weeks, you can forget making contact.
