The Goulds Amateur Radio Club is a non-profit oraganization

self-supporting through our own contributions and is not affiliated

with any other sect,institution,political group,club, or oraganization

but will endevor to co-operate with all levels of government or

regulatoty agencies. Our primary purpose is to enjoy,promote, and

encourage the use of amateur radio as described in the

Radiocommunication Regulations which describes the amateur radio

service being a "Radiocommunication service in which radio apparatus

are used for the purpose of self-training, intercommunication or

technical investigation by individuals who are interested in radio

technique solely with a personal aim and without pecuniary,

interest.

The primary requirement for membership is a desire to operate and conduct

yourself as outlined in the above constitution.

THE GOULDS AMATEUR RADIO CLUB will adopt the following code of ethics for present and new members.

An amateur recognizing the importance of frequency sharing, allows
others equal opportunity on the air to enjoy the hobby.

An amateur uses reognized operating practices that are beyond
criticism.

An amateur installs and maintains an efficient station taking into
account the nature of the environment.

An amateur's knowledge and station are always ready for the
service to community,country ,and humankind around the globe.

An amateur offers support and encouragement to fellow amateurs,
patient assistance to beginners and consideration on the interest
of others.
