Notice:This is not a site for those interested in cursing a teacher, hexing a foe,or insta-witches so if you fit in this category you might as well just leave. But if you are serious and want to learn continue on.
Now I will begin with some basic stuff like the ethics of wicca.
The ethics of wicca can be described in many ways and many variations but if you look at it the target concept is harm none.
There is also the threefold law whatever energy is sent comes back
three times as strong.the wiccan code of chivarly which says as we envision it today is to protect an defend our religion an its followers, while also helping others in need even they don't follow
the same path as we do.
Circle Casting
On your altar, you will need a bell, an athame, a red candle, a chalice, a pentacle, a small bowl or jar of salt, a small bowl of water, and symbols for the God and Goddess (statues/candles/items from nature, etc).
Light the red candle and incense.
Ring the bell three times, then say:
"Let it be known the circle is about to be cast."
Beginning in the east, walking deosil, draw a circle around your available work space with the athame, saying:
"Here is the boundary of the circle of power
A protection that shall contain the power raised herein
Naught but love shall enter in
Naught but love shall emerge from within."
Lower the tip of the athame into the water, saying:
"As water is life's beginning
So salt is its end."
Scoop three pinches salt into the water with the athame and stir deosil, saying:
"Combined, they bring forth new life."
Draw a circle with the Holy Water, tracing the same circle you drew before with the athame. Then draw the circle with the incense, then the red candle.
Anoint yourself with Holy Water at the third eye, lips, throat, heart, feet, saying:
"I consecrate myself, [magickal name], in the names of the God and the Goddess."
Move to the East, and with the athame, draw an invoking Air pentagram, saying:
"Hail, forces of the East, powers of Air.
Golden eagle of the dawn,
Rising sun, Come.
By the air that is His breath,
Send forth Your light, Be here now."
Kiss the blade of athame. Then move to the South, and draw an invoking Fire pentagram, saying:
"Hail, forces of the South, powers of Fire.
Red lion of the noon heat,
Sparks of life, Come.
By the fire that is His spirit,
Send forth Your flame, Be here now."
Kiss the blade of athame. Then move to the West, and draw an invoking Water pentagram, saying:
"Hail, forces of the West, powers of Water.
Blue dolphin of dusk,
Ocean waves, Come.
By the waters of Her living womb,
Send forth Your flow, Be here now."
Kiss the blade of athame. Then move to the North, and draw an invoking Earth pentagram, saying:
"Hail, forces of the North, powers of Earth.
Black bull of midnight,
Fertile field, Come.
By the earth that is Her body,
Send forth Your strength, Be here now."
Kiss the blade of athame and return to the altar. Raising your athame high in salute, say:
"From cave and desert, sea and hill,
By incense, blade, cup, and pentacle,
All hail the Four Quarters!"
Assume the Goddess position and say:
"Crescent One of the starry skies
Flowered One of the fertile plain
Flowing One of the ocean's rolls
Blessed One of the gentle rains
Gracious Goddess, descend I ask,
Be with me in my sacred rite."
Assume the God position and say:
"Horned One of the wilderness
Winged One of the deep blue skies
Rayed One of the splendorous sun
Fallen One of the Samhain cries
Glorious God, descend I ask,
Be with me in my sacred rite."
Return to normal standing position and say:
"May the powers of the One
The source of all creation;
May the Goddess, Lady of the Moon,
And the God, Hunter of the Sun;
May the powers of the creative forces,
Rulers of the elemental realms;
May the powers of the stars above and the earth below
Bless this place, and this time, and I who am with You."
Ring the bell three times then say:
"The circle is now cast
I am between the worlds
Beyond the boundaries of time
Where night and day,
Birth and death,
Joy and sorrow,
Meet as One."
circle closing
Ring the bell three times, then say:
"As I came in love and friendship, I leave the same way.
Let me spread the love outward to all;
Sharing it with those I meet."
Go to the North. With the athame, draw a banishing Earth pentagram and say:
"Powers of the North, thank you for your time.
Empower my magick with solid foundations
So that it may grow daily in my heart. Farewell."
Move to the West, draw a banishing Water pentagram and say:
"Powers of the West, thank you for your time.
Empower my magick with inspiration
So that it flows freely in and around my life. Farewell."
Move to the South, draw a banishing Fire pentagram and say:
"Powers of the South, thank you for your time.
Empower my magick with passionate energy
As a source of encouragement in my heart. Farewell."
Move to the East, draw a banishing Air pentagram and say:
"Powers of the East, thank you for your time.
Empower my magick with your creative winds
So that it may ever be a source of hope in my life. Farewell."
Return to the altar. Raise the athame high in salute and say:
"Goddess and God,
I thank You for Your presence,
For light and love, for night and change.
Merry did I come here and Merry do I part,
To merry come again.
Let me honor You and be guided by You
In all matters.
Hail and farewell! Blessed be."
Kiss the blade of the athame and say:
"The circle is now open, but never unbroken."
Cakes and Ale
After performing a spell or ritual, relax and ground your energies with the celebration of Cakes and Ale.
Take the drink-filled chalice in left hand and athame in right. Slowly lower athame into chalice, saying:
"As the athame is to the male, so the chalice is to the female;
And conjoined, they become one in truth.
Let the fruits of union promote life.
Let all be fruitful and let wealth be spread throughout the lands."
Take a sip of the drink.
Hold the plate of cakes in left hand and athame in right. Draw an invoking Earth pentagram over the cakes, saying:
"Oh gracious Lord and Lady of abundance,
Bless these cakes and infuse them with Your love,
Bestowing health, strength, joy and peace."
Protection Visualization
This visualization can be used to protect people, pets, homes, cars, anything you would like to protect. After doing this a few times, you will not need the candles. You will be able to visualize the ball of white light at any time and any place. If you wish to protect a loved one and you have a photograph of them, place it between the candles (taking care that it not catch fire).
Cast a circle if you like. Light three white candles for protection.
Sit down and get comfortable. Relax. Breathe slow and deep. Let all tension flow into the earth. Feel calm and peaceful. You are completely relaxed.
Visualize a beautiful white light all around you, forming a bubble. It shimmers with a soft glow. Now make it stronger, and then make it shine brighter. Make it grow until it fills the room you are in. Fill the bubble with love and confidence. Know that it will protect you wherever you are.
To protect a loved one: Now picture your loved one. See a glowing light all around them. It is just like the bubble that is protecting you now. It glows with safety and protection. Make it stronger, bigger, brighter. Visualize this as long as you like. When you are done, wish your loved one well and know that they are safe.
Now feel your circle of light bring you back to the present moment and the room you are in. Take a deep breath and stretch for a moment before you get up.
Let the candles burn as long as you like. You may relight them any time you wish to strengthen the visualization and protection.
Grounding
Stand or sit comfortably on the floor or ground. Visualize roots slowly extending from your feet (and other body parts touching the surface). Slowly they travel down, down, until they meet the soil. This is easy if you are outside. If you are inside, imagine them traveling down throughout the layers of the building, down through the foundation and eventually into the soil. Imagine the feel of the cool, secure soil all around your roots, keeping you safe, taking away all impurities.
Smell the fresh, wholesome earth, as if you were turning over dirt to plant the first seed of spring.
Imagine that you are a giant, primeval redwood (or some other tree of your choosing). You are sturdy and confident. You are part of the earth, yet distinct from it.
Your roots go down deep into the earth and all excess nervous energy, tension, and stress flow down your roots and seep harmlessly into the earth, where the loving earth accepts and neutralizes it. In return the earth sends back calming nutrients, stability, and ancient serenity.
You are an ancient tree, your roots go deep into the ground. You were here before humans walked this place, you have seen so much. As you stand there, you think about the rings within your mighty trunk. The ones just inside your bark remind you of last spring's rain. Continue to work inward until you reach the center rings, those rings of dark wood at your core that represent the inner you, your heart, your oldest part.
Breathe from that part. Suck the air in through all the rings to that central core. Feel your life force gather and recharge in your center. Pull it back from the outermost limbs where the growth may be unbalanced. Feel the sap brimming in your core. Once you feel completely charged, let it go and it will course through you, back out energizing you, but at your center is still the central heart of your energy, calm, full, and ready for anything.
Breaking a Spell You've Cast
Here are two methods:
You'll need a piece of string about thirteen inches long, a cauldron, and a black candle. Place the candle inside the cauldron. Take the string and slowly tie three knots in the center. While you tie the knots, meditate on the spell you cast, recalling the actions you did and words you spoke. Focus on why you cast the spell and why it's no longer needed or wanted. Pour all the energy from that spell into the knots. Now light the candle. Pass the knots through the flame until they light and burn away. The spell is broken when the knots are burnt away. Bury what is left of the string. Please, use common sense, be careful and don't do this in a windy environment.
For this second method, you'll need a cauldron and a large black candle that's at least the height of the cauldron. Melt some wax into the bottom of the cauldron so the candle won't fall over. Place the candle inside the cauldron. Fill the cauldron about halfway with water, so that the candle extends above the cauldron. Now meditate on the spell you cast. Recall the ritual actions, recall the words you used. Focus on why you cast the spell and why it's no longer needed or wanted. Now light the candle. Visualize the energy from the spell you're breaking as forming before you into a large ball of light. Then visualize the energy moving toward the candle and being absorbed into its flame. All the power of that spell now is contained in the candle's flame. When the candle burns down enough to touch the water, the flame will go out and the spell will be broken. Dig a hole in the earth, and pour in the rest of the water. Bury the candle.
