THE NATIONAL SEA TRAINING SCHOOL/COLLEGE.GRAVESEND

This Web Site was started on the 8th April 2000.

It was the 1st of its kind dedicated to The National Sea Training School and College.

This Web page was started as a meeting point for old friends and as people send more info and pictures, iam very pleased to see the site grow.

I'am a family man and still have to work for a living.
So i get very little time to keep adding new pages but when i get sent new stories or pictures, they will be put on Web Site and replies sent back asap.

This Web Site will only grow with your help!

Welcome to my re-started website. My intention is to assist in tracking down Old Boys who attended the National Sea Training School at Gravesend and then proceeded on a career at sea.

My sincere thanks to all who have and still are contacting me and showing an interest in getting in touch with old shipmates or colleagues who eagerly shared their enthusiasm to enter the Merchant Navy that was at one time the largest in the world.
Those days have sadly gone, and the an all-important avenue for young lads to seek adventure and grow into mature adults is closed.
But we still have our memories and it's important we share them and pass them on for the benefit of generations that I am sure would have loved to experience what we did.
Please join me and help me in my aims
Thank you
Norman Brice Jnr
