Religion is what makes us be close to each other no matter what we feel. It is the only connection that helps us to reach to each other and overcome difficulties that we are having. When we believe that these tortures no longer exist they will appear in our generations and continues to influence on them. Compassion is the other way to show liability to someone even though it sometimes more than what we anticipated the torture to be. What we don’t expect is our generation’s unpredictable pain.
Indifference is ignorance of actual pain and act as if it is usual. Being indifferent person doesn’t mean to be unaware of surroundings, but to behave as if you are assured in spite of bad consequence. It also settles us completely down when we persuade ourselves that pain will not last long and actually have a little effect on us.
I agree with this statement because it is so much true about life. Religion coheres every one of us and is support to know each other’s feelings benevolently.
Essay 2
Fromm believes that love is an activity that overcomes separateness and helps human being getting out of isolation, like arts. Nevertheless, love in contrast is an activity of soul which is possible only under the condition of inner freedom and independence. It needs care and respect in order to keep in valuable. The more you go into it to find more aspects about, the more it eludes from human being and he never reach the bottom of which he wants to discover.
I fully concede the idea of Fromm about love, because his concepts coincides the real life experiences. What I have been encouraged is that he explains clearly the meaning of the words “to love” and “being loved”. I have learned from his story that love needed to be developed through an activity between man and woman and build up union among people.
