Nubber is COOL! What is it? Nubber is a pet name, its also the slang meaning "pet name". Truckers have CB "handles", families give thier members a "nubber". The rules of a "nubber" are as follows: 1- The nubber is always given before a persons first birthday. 2-A nubber is always given by a parent or equivilent. Never a sibling, grand parents, aunt or uncle, neighbor...ect. 3- Nubbers NEVER change!!! If you were "stinky" (this is a very popular nubber usually given during the daily daiper changes) at 9mos. old then your still your moms-little-stinky at 29yrs. old!!! 4- There is ALWAYS a good story behind your nubber. It can be funny, scary, historical, whatever... but it probably reveals a snapshot of your life while you were still an infant, and 100 years from now it will sound something like this- "I dont know much about my great-great grandfather, but when he was a baby his nubber was scooter, because he refused to crawl anywhere! He would just sit-up and scoot around on his bottom, and then one day he just started walking, but never crawled. Thats probably where our new son gets it.-----And now you know why NUBBER is cool!
