A FEW WORDS FROM THE AUTHOR: So let it be said, "Honesty Is The Best Policy." The truth is, we've been trying to save up enough money for a decent..not expensive wedding, but only a decent wedding that will be quite memorable for the many years to come. We, like alot of others, have had more than our share of hard times. We work hard, but always seem to have that financial obsticle that keeps us from getting to where we need to be. In all honesty, it has been a true financial struggle for a while now just to have our basic essential needs; like food, pay rent, and laundry money...a struggle to 'just live'. It would take me writing another book to honestly tell you what this family has gone through in just the last year, but there has been ALOT of frusteration and tears. So I'll just say that we are trying to raise up enough funds for our Wedding and anyone who feels like they would like to contribute, you are more than welcome to. After we raise enough funds for our Wedding, then we will begin raising funds for Local Food Pantries (for the fact that many times they have kept us from "starving to death"). We will also help other Local Families who are also hurting for food, toiletries, rent money, utility money, clothing, ect. because it's not always easy to get help from a lot of the agencies who people are supposed to be able to turn to in those hard times of need. When your one of those people who are in need, it's not always easy to seek out the help. Some of the agencies and people cause you to feel even worse about yourself than you already do. With us assisting Local Families, we will seek the families out who need the help, they won't have to seek OUT the help. We will be there to FIND THEM to give THEM help, compassion and understanding As for The Local Food Pantries, we will think more along the lines of the Children. We'll put foods in the pantries that Children 'like' to eat and that are 'healthy', not just foods that they 'have' to eat because their tummies hurt so bad from being so hungry. We are determined people and believe that we can make a change, but it also takes more people to help to make changes. We CAN make situations BETTER.  My Guestbook |
