This website is to provide information that is factual. This web site is AGAINST the PROPOSED plan to change Grand Lakes Resort in Lupton Michigan.
The APPLICATION ( File No. 02-65-0024 ) before the Ogemaw County is currently pending a PUBLIC HEARING allowing the PUBLIC for the FIRST TIME to rebut and provide credible information. The applicant for the proposed project has not been forthright and open in the release of ALL THE PROPER information.
You will read the news reports and see for yourself the danger and very harmful effect it will have not only on the local community, but the effect on the county and state. The applicant has made many statements as to the FAMILY ENVIRONMENT, yet what in truth is not a campground but a NIGHTCLUB FOR ADULTS ONLY at a cost to the peaceful harmony of the local neighborhood. Compare this proposed project to the various other sites that have almost the exact criteria and look what they ended up with. Feel free to express your opinion. It is YOUR AMERICAN RIGHT.
