THE NORTHERN NECK OF VIRGINIA HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Northern Neck Historical Society is an organization for people who are interested in the Northern Neck and its history. Their annual magazine has been published since 1951. A number of libraries in the country, including their research library in the Montross museum, have complete sets.
The Society does not employ a genealogist nor are they equipped to provide genealogical information which may be found in the publication or in the local courthouse.
They hold two membership meetings a year, usually alternating between the upper and lower counties. Interested persons may become members of the Society by completing an application form similiar to below, and submitting it along with a check for yearly dues.
