Newfoundland Amateur Baseball Association


The Newfoundland Amateur Baseball Association (N.A.B.A.) is the sport governing body for baseball in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Among the objectives of the Corporation outlined in the N.A.B.A. constitution are:
(a) To foster, control, and improve Baseball in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
(b) To protect and promote the mutual interests of the Members.
(c) To encourage in young players the development of qualities of sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty and respect for authority and property.

Members benefit from the following:
1. Accident, Liability and Director & Officer Liability insurance.
2. N.A.B.A. is incorporated and officially recognized by the Provincial Government, Sport Newfoundland and Labrador, and Baseball Canada.
3. Provincial team programs for the Canada Games and the Baseball Canada Cup Selects.
4. Coaching and umpire programs and clinics.
5. Annual Awards recognizing players, coaches, umpires and volunteers.
6. Provincial, Atlantic, and National championship tournaments.
7. The opportunity to host a Provincial, Atlantic, or National championship tournament.
8. Athlete Assistance grants from the Provincial Government and Sport NL.
9. Team travel assistance to National competition.
10. Annual and Semi-Annual Meetings.
11. A central office.
12. A Long Term Athlete Development Program encompassing online coaching and workshops, Rally Cap, Blastball, RBI Club Mark, and Winterball.
13. A Provincial Baseball Hall of Fame.
