TEAMadara is a group of "weekend" paddlers, who became friends through series of kayak camps, organised by Metavasi kayak school, between 1998 and 2000.
These former students, moved their friendship, from the safety of the school run, to the real rivers, enjoying in a different way familiar runs, or challenging the adventure in rivers never paddled before.

Our most active paddlers, find themselves by the river most of the weekends, calling whitewater kayaking their main hobby, but skiing, climbing, biking, windsurfing and sailing are the river's mighty contestants.

Harris Loukopoulos and Chris Alexopoulos - photo 9 with Nikos, students of "Metavasi" like the rest of us and George Balgouranides, photo 8, student of K.S.R.V. (Konidis School of River Victims?!), passed the endurance test of new-comers (even if...just surviving paddling with us, should be considered equal to graduation)

From now on they bare the honorable name of our Team, with a small detail: they 'll have to try hard to upgrade from TeaMADARA to TEAMadara. (This little Quiz is for the greek speaking only!)

Hopefully this small community will grow and this is where this site will eventually help.

Friends of the Team are also the friends who paddle with us or ride with us from time to time as a support team, friends who share information, friends who are always there to help, whenever we need them.
