I started this paper after recognizing a need for it. I was sitting at a counter one day, trying to decide what to call this paper ("Lehigh Valley Open Miker" was a consideration). I had a nickel in my hand and I thought, "Nickel!, an iron ore, Bethlehem Steel",.. it all seemed to fit!
I produced my first issue in April '96 - put in some free ads for local businesses and was on my way!
