Strange fact- After a scary movie, he usually doesn't want to sleep alone. He'll usually ask if he can sleep with one of the other guys(Brian, A.J., Kevin, or Howie)
FACTS ABOUT NICK:
1. Nick admits he's very hyperactive and perhaps he doesn't take things as seriously as he should do at times.
2. The rest of the group all say that he is definitely the clumsiest in the group that's only because he's 6ft, and he keeps tripping over things on stage like Microphone wires.
3. The lads all say that Nick is very mature for his age, because he's handled becoming famous very well, and has never let it go to his head, they really admire him for that.
4. Nick is a very bad loser when it comes to playing basketball.
5. Nick admits that he is addicted to the Nintendo, his excuse is that he can't play basketball because he isn't allowed out of the hotel, so he does the next best thing which is Nintendo.
6. Nick says that the first time he signed an autograph was when he was 8 years old after he appeared in several shows when he was really young "I was chuffed" he says.
7. He says that the best thing about himself is his artisic and creative values which include, being able to draw and paint and also being able to play a handlful of musical instruments.
8. Nick says that his first kiss came about when he was just 12 years old and it was backstage with a girl he was appearing in a musical alongside.
9. He sometimes listens to Country music.
10. He is also into several different types of music and says he isn't fussy when it comes to music, his favourite groups inlcude : AC/DC, Oasis, Lenny Kravitz, Nirvana, and Boyz II Men.

31. The best qualities he looks for in a girl are long brown hair, nice eyes and above all she must be sweet and the owner of a good heart and not a big fan of makeup. He also likes independant girls who don't care what other people think of them.
32. Nick admits that he is the one with the shortest temper in the group and the one who is most likely to get in to an argument with the other boys.

It's probably no accident that Nick Carter was born in the same Jamestown, New York hospital as the legendary actress/comedienne, Lucille Ball. A firecracker from day one, you could regularly find "Little Nicky" dressed in nothing but diapers, bustin' a move, on the dance floor of his father's Yankee Rebel lounge. By fourth grade, after his family moved to Florida, Nick landed the lead in Phantom of the Opera. He was also a featured vocalist at Tampa Bay Buccaneer pre-game shows for two years.
At age 12 he put in a winning performance on the 1992 New Original Amateur Hour, and did commercials for both the Money Store and the Florida State Lottery. Nick was offered a gig with Disney, but decided to go with the Backstreet Boys after that first night of harmonizing.
During off hours, you can find Nick at home with his parents and four younger siblings. The drum set in his room gets a heavy workout and he spends lots of time jamming with two of his buds. Nick is a licensed scuba diver, enjoys the family motorboat and fishing, and loves poetry and football. Nick was offered a gig with Disney, but decided to go with the Backstreet Boys after that first night of harmonizing.
