WHEN WILL THE END COME?

“I will destroy (take away) (remove) (consume) everything on the face of the earth!” declared Jehovah. I will terminate both man and beast. I will put an end to the birds of the sky and the fish of the sea. I will eliminate the sins that make people fall, together with the sinners. I will remove people from the face of the earth,” declared Jehovah. NSB (Zephaniah 1:2,3) When will this happen? When will the end come?
Honest hearted people will heed the warning at Zephaniah 2:1-3: "Come together, make everyone come together, you nation without shame! Before the decree takes effect. Before the day passes like the chaff. Before the fierce anger of Jehovah comes upon you. Yes, before the Day of Jehovah's anger comes upon you. Seek Jehovah all you meek ones of the earth, you who have obeyed his Law! Seek righteousness! Seek meekness that you may be hidden in the Day of Jehovah's anger." (Hebrew: ulay-ulay, may-be; Septuagint: “you may be hid.”) (Hebrew: sathar: concealed, hidden, protected) NSB (Zephaniah 1:2) (Amos 5:15)
No prophecy was given to indicate the date that the end would come. Jesus plainly stated at Matthew 24:36, 42: "The good news of the kingdom will be preached in the entire world for a witness to all the nations and then the end will come. Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. Keep on the watch, therefore, because YOU do not know on what day YOUR Lord is coming.” NWT
It would appear that Mark 13:21-23 could be applied to any and all religious groups who name dates for the end of the age: “Then, too, if anyone says to YOU, ‘See! Here is the Christ,’ ‘See! There he is,’ do not believe [it]. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will give signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, the chosen ones. YOU, then, watch out; I have told YOU all things beforehand.” NWT (Mark 13:32, 33) (Revelation 3:3)(Luke 21:34)
Of course we do have Matthew 24:14 to tell us when the end will come: "The good news of the kingdom will be preached in the entire world for a witness to all the nations and then the end will come." NSB However, we must remember that even God controls and directs this activity and no date is set in the Bible.
Jesus showed that worship should not be based on serving to a date or working to earn salvation at Armageddon; it should revolve around serving God. It is not necessary to know when Jesus Second Coming will be. Christianity manifests itself by showing love for God and love for neighbour for the entirety of ones life regardless of when the end will come.
When will the end come? Only God knows! (Acts 1:6, 7)
