Assert 'I AM' Is God's Name

There is no place in the Holy Scriptures where it specifically says “I AM” is God’s name. You can search for hours on end and never find it.

True believers know that “I AM” is not God’s name. However, Trinitarian translators call attention to verses, words and phrases that have been translated using words that highlight the possibility of a three-in-one God. Read on and you will see how they have propagated this deception.

Most statements in the Bible specify that God is one single spirit-being who demands exclusive devotion and does not share his glory with anyone. (Deuteronomy 4:24) It is plainly stated that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, not God. Jesus said, "I am the Son of God." He did not say he was God! If he was God, and he was "the way, the TRUTH, and the life," wouldn't he say "I am God?" But he didn't! (John 10:36)(Matthew 27:43) This certainly helps to explain John 1:1. And remember Jehovah God plainly states: “I am God. There is no other.” (Isaiah 46:9)

The churches of Christendom have created a communication travesty. Concerning their understanding of the true nature of God they are in a state of complete confusion. Understanding the true meaning of words and conveying that information to others requires communication. This communication failure the churches are experiencing is caused by man and it is influenced by Satan the Devil. It comes as no supprise that this should happen for Satan is the God of this world. (2 Corinthians 4:4) Is it any wonder that even the Roman Catholic Church, the founder of the Trinitarian Doctrine at the Council of Nicaea in 325 C.E. admits in its Catholic Encylopedia that the Trinity is a mystery and it cannot be understood.

Bible translators have been deliberately selecting words that convey the idea that a three-in-one Trinity could possibly exist. They are cleaver. Oh yes, they are very cleaver! They carefully select words that offer a reasonably accurate conveyance of the meaning of the original Hebrew and Greek words. And when they are done with their deception they point an accusatory finger at Non-Trinitarians and claim that they are the ones who have manipulated the truth.

There is something about the words "I am" that attracts attention. The word "I" is egocentric. A person who constantly thinks about himself is a self-centred person with little regard for others. Most persons fit this discription from time to time. The word "am" refers to the quality of being. It confirms ones existence. When these two words are used together they build ego and confirm it. So that might explain why so many are deceived by the idea that God is the big "I AM."

“I AM”…THE ULTIMATE DECEPTION: Take a closer look at John 8:58. Most Bible translations use the deliberate Trinitarian phrase, “Before Abraham was, I AM.” This is Jesus Christ the Son of God speaking. They want you to think that the phrase “I AM” means he is God. But does it? Or does it simply mean “I exist (existed).” The word they translated “am” is from the Greek “eimi.” It has several meanings including: am, exist, and was. So there you have it, “I am” could be considered accurate but does it prove that Jesus is God and part of a Trinity? No!

I am that I am (Hebrew:pronounced Ehyeh asher ehyeh) is one English translation of the response God used in the Bible when Moses asked for his name (Exodus 3:14). It is one of the most famous verses in the Torah. Hayah means "existed" or "was" in Hebrew; "ehyeh" is the first person singular present/future form. Ehyeh asher ehyeh is generally interpreted to mean I am that I am (King James Bible and others), yet, as indicated, is most literally translated as "I-shall-be that I-shall-be." It is interesting to note that God went on to give his name now known in the form of the Tetragrammaton,"YHWH>".

The word Ehyeh is used a total of 43 places in the Old Testament, where it is usually translated as "I will be" -- as is the case for its first occurrence, in Exodus 3:12 -- or "I shall be," as is the case for its final occurrence in Zechariah 8:8. It stems from the Hebrew conception of monotheism. Some scholars state the Tetragrammaton itself derives from the same verbal root, but others counter that it may simply sound similar as intended by God, such as Psalm 119 and the Hebrew words "shoqed" (watching) and "shaqed" (almond branch) found in Jeremiah 1:11-12.

“I AM”…A CONSPIRACY IN THE MAKING: Exodus 3:14: This is where the devious conspiracy begins! The Trinitarian translators mislead the unsuspecting Bible student at the very begininng of the the Holy Scriptures. The Hebrew word that they translate “I AM WHO I AM” is “hayah.” It can be translated “am”, “have been”, “will become”, “exist”, remain”, “will be”. A far more proper translation of this word is “I WAS and I AM, and I WILL BE.” It is proof that God has an eternal existence and is responsible for all that was and is and will become. Do you see the devious conspiracy? The Trinitarian is partly right. His translation is a half-truth and therefore it could be considered by most Bible authorities as accurate.
