Essence of Religion

Hi and welcome to this site and I hope that this site may enliven you on some aspects of spiritual life.

Essence of any religion is to know and love God irrespective of cast, color or creed. Be you a Christian, Bhuddist, Jew or even a Hare Krishna.

The first basic consideration knowing that we are not this body. When we die it is the body that remains behind but the soul continues its destination depending on the mentality of the individual at the time of death.

Secondly we should understand that the spirit soul cannot be cut by any weapon, withered by the wind nor moistened by water. The soul is unborn, eternal, ever-existing and primeval - knowing this you should not grief for the death of the body.

Thirdly as the embodied soul continuously passes in this body from boyhood to youth to old age the soul similarly passes into another body at death. Just as a living entity changes his outer garments giving up the old and dirty ones, the soul also gives up the old and useless bodies.

Understanding the difference between the material and spiritual worlds!
The material world is but a reflection of the spiritual world but as time progresses things deteriorate and come to an end so too will this material world. We, the living entity as like a fish taken out of water. Despite being given the most opulent of material things the fish will never be happy unless it is put back in its orginal habitat. So too we the living entities to not belong in this material world and in order to go back to the kingdom of God we need to purify our existance. That can only be done by becoming more serious in ones spiritual life.

Questions that need to be addressed!
Who am I?
Who God is?
What is my relationship with Him?
Does reincarnation exit?

The list goes on and on so if you do have any questions why not e-mail me!
