Brewco says Sauter not leaving

Todd Wilkerson president of Brewco Motorsports denied rumors that his team and Richard Childress Racing had come to an agreement for Johnny Sauter to drive the No. 30 AOL Chevrolet next season.

"We have had no contact whatsoever with Richard Childress Racing regarding Johnny," Wilkerson said. "There's no deal I know of for next year that's been made for Johnny to drive for them, which would be impossible anyway since Johnny is under contract with us.

Black Cat Racing signs deal with McFarlane Toys

McFarlane Toy and Black Cat Racing have signed a deal to feature a SPAWN themed car at Daytona in February for Black Cat Rcaing's Busch Series Debut.

The car should be a Chevrolet and Conrad Burr the driver. Check out pictures of the car at the link below.

Childress has new Busch Series driver

Richard Childress has chosen Clint Bowyer to drive his Busch Series car in 2004. Bowyer a 24 year old short track star will replace Johnny Sauter. Bowyer will drive in 14 races next season and Kevin Harvic the other 20.

Unilever Bestfoods Brands signs a sponsorship deal with Tommy Baldwin Racing for 2004

Unilever Bestfood Brands and Tommy Baldwin Racing have signed an agreement that will put up-and-coming drivers in the No. 6 Dodge for twelve Busch Series Races in 2004.The first race will be in Daytona in February and end with Atlanta in October.

During the 2004 season there will be 4 different drivers for the twelve races. The one who does the best will have a good shot at having a full time ride in 2005.

Kyle Busch expected for duel in the desert

Akins Motorsports announce changes

Akins Motorsports has announced changes for the 2004 season with its program in the Nascar Busch Series. The team which is now owned by Brad Akins will be coowned by Doug Stringer in a 50/50 partnership. They will keep the Akins Motorsports name. The biggest surprise is after 11 seasons with Ford they have announced they will fiel Dodge's in 2004, with support from Evernham Motorsports.

20 year old Busch Series Champ

20 year old Brian Vickers is your 2003 Busch series champion. He held off David Green who came back from three laps down to push Vickers for the race to the title. Vickers won it by 14 points.

In a day that saw tile contenders have problems Vickers just stayed steady all day long. Vickers came back from one lap down to be able to win the title.

Early on in the race it looked as if Bobby Hamilton Jr. would be champ as he had one of the fastest cars on the track, but he fell off later in the race and ended up fourth in points. Ron Hornaday finished third in points just coming up short.

Brian Vickers becomes the youngest champion in the three major series history. This also gave car owner Rick Hendrick his first Nascar Busch Series Points Championship. He now has titles in all three series.

Kahne wins it at new Homestead

Kasey Kahne got his first Busch Series Victory Saturday in the last race of 2003. Kahne who took the lead after Matt Kenseth had ignition box troble held off Martin Truex Jr. in the final laps. Rounding out the top five were Bobby Hamilton Jr., Jason Leffler, and Ashton Lewis Jr.

In a race that saw the leaders have problems all day long, falling out of the race foe the leader was a norm. When it was finished three of the top four finishers were seeking their first Busch Series win. The only one in the top four not was Bobby Hamitlon Jr.
