THE OPENING PHOTO WAS TAKEN FROM THE WESTERN SKYLINE THIS FALL OF MY OLD HIGH SCHOOL....MORGAN PARK (which is now a middle school)
It has been two years since I last updated my web page; I think that it is time for me to work on putting some current photos in my albums. Since Sept. I have passed my Canon 30 D onto LeRoy and I am shooting with a Canon 40 D which I got this past Sept. In this digital age it is hard to keep up with technology. As I have said in the past since retiring from nursing I have found a hobby to replace my first love, photography. We live on the Gunflint Trail, in northern MN during the summer so I have plenty of wildlife as subjects for my photography. It is nice that LeRoy shares my love of photography even though he has told me that it isn’t his main hobby, woodworking is. We both belong to the Duluth-Superior Camera Club. Photography is something that we share with our grandchildren and have many times been out taking pictures together. In 2003 I had published a book of photos that I had taken with my first digital camera a Sony Mavica. It is called GUNFLINT CRITTERS AND OTHER NORTH WOOD WONDERS. Check out my Gunflint Critter photo page. Since that time my images have been of a much better quality, maybe I should put together a second book….The GUNFLINT AND BEYOND. Thank you “Remember, carry a camera with you because you never know what exciting adventures you’ll miss if you don’t have them recorded to share with others”
