pioneer = Gives all the cars faster engines.
slip = Makes the track slippery.
rushhour = Turns all traffic into secret car type.
roadrage = Crashes car in front if you hoot
kcjones = Rainbow car and horizon (3DFX-only)
rain = To drive in rain in the non-3DFX version
mad = Cows instead of tire smoke! (3DFX only)
chase = Aggressive competitor cars

slot = Enables the 'slot car' cheat. Make sure you have arcade mode on. Choose slot car from car selection area. While in slot mode the horn gives you extra speed.

Hold 'n' in after clicking on RACE to make it night time.


Hold down RIGHT SHIFT and 'b' after clicking on RACE to get a fifth camera view.


Hold down RIGHT SHIFT and 'c' after clicking on RACE to get more camera views.


If 'pioneer' is used on normal cars, much faster acceleration is the result


This cheat works only in Mediterraneo or Mystic Peaks. Put on the reverse gear and hit an object (like souvenir stands or crates) with the speed of 30 kmh/20 mph or greater while hooting your horn. You should now be able to go through the invisible walls. This cheat will lose its effect after a while.


At the start of the race drive a little bit forward and then hit reverse. Then hit the handbrake and keep it on for about 5 secs. This activates the Psycho Mode, and it lasts until the end of the race. See my replays page for downloadable demonstrations of both of the above cheats.
