We are currently taking orders for the Naga Jolokia pepper which will be ready by the end of August, 2002. We intend to start shipping either the end of August, or beginning of September, 2002.

This pepper has been measured at 855,000 scoville units as reported by S.C. Das, Deputy Director of the Defense Research Laboratory located in Tezpur, India. When compared to the Red Savina™ Habanero which was officially measured at 577,000 scoville units, the Naga Jolokiai is even HOTTER at a scorching 855,000 scoville units! The pepper grows in the hilly regions of the State of Assam in India.
