MY 1967 VW

Hi everyone, my name is Michael and I am 15 years old. This web page is to tell you and show you my 1967 volkswagon.
(sorry write now I do not have a picture of the finished project but it will be coming soon.)

About three years ago my grandfather gave me a 1967 volkswagon. The 1967 volkswagon is the most looked for volkswagon. The reason is is because this year was the last year they built before the super beetle. The color of the bug was yellow and the interior was thrashed. My dad Mike decided to fix it up and was going to sell it. On the drivers side door it had been crushed in because a tree fell on it. My did all the body work to fix it. We had to sand so much, we figured that we had sanded for about a total of 18 hours. After the paint was on (picture above), the bug was started to get really nice and my dad asked if I wanted it for my first car. And of course I said yes because the bug was so nice. My dad painted it a dark burgandy matalic and put new interior in it and got it running good. My dad did everything to the bug except the tinting on the windows.
Once the bug was almost complete he decided to put a stereo system in it. Right now it has 2 ten inch JBL subwoofers with a 400 watt Lanzar Vibe amp pushing them. We preffer these subs because they hit hard and quick. It also has 2 pioneer 6" by 9" and 2 premier 6 1/2". It has an Aiwa CD player that is 40 watts by 4 speakers. We have built so many speaker boxes for the bug, just for different styles and the one that is in there is the one we are going to keep. My dad has built all the speaker boxes. If you have any questions on the boxes we have made PLEASE E-MAIL ME. In a few months we are going to get two more JBL 10" subwoofers and two more amplifiers for it, plus four 1" directional tweeters, for a total of 12 speakes in a 1967 VOLKSWAGON. Just the other day me and my dad decided we wanted it to be lower in the front. So of course we did but it was a pain in the but. In the front end are tortion bars and we had to take all of them and and tear the whole thing apart. After that was done we had to cut the tubing so that we could weld in the adjuster to lower it and raise it. Once this was done we had to put it together which was another pain in the butt but we finely got it done and it looks so much better. Well this is my story, and THANKS for coming here. Please come back soon.

Please e-mail me if you have any questions about anything on my bug and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

THANK YOU FOR COMING TO MY SITE AND I HOPE TO GET AN UPDATED PICTURE SOON. :)
