ABOUT THE MUMMERS TROUPE
The Group is dedicated to the creation and presentation of high quality adaptations and original plays for young audiences and their families. Inspired by classic and Commedia dell'arte theater styles, The Mummers Troupe performances incorporates spellbinding storytelling with audience participation to create a completely unique theater experince for all.With the use of imaginative costuming and minimal set designs this troop is ready to perform in any venue and boast a group of established and well-trained actors and directors. We strive to make live theatre a part of the child hood experience.

The Mummers Troupe offers an array of Educational Services. The purpose of these workshops is to stimulate a young audience's appreciation for the performing arts and desire to pursue them as an artist or as an educated patron.

THEATER ON THE GO
We are pleased to offer our Theater on the go performances. These plays are performed by our travling company and can be performed in minimal space making it the perfect tool for educators wanting to present the world of theater to their students.
Pre- school through 5th Grade:
CINDERELLA
This wonderful telling of the popular fairy tale combines bright lavish costumes, minimal sets and audience participation to create a magical world. The play is approximately 30 minutes long and can be done in minimal space. It is a wonderful way to introduce children to live theater and inspires them to use their imagination. Actors will at the end of the play answer questions from the children.
6th Grade through 12th Grade:
DEMETER AND PERSEPHONE
A classic telling of the Greek Myth that explains the reasoning
behind the seasons. This wonderful play is approximately 30 to 35 minutes long and combines minimal set designs with lavish mask to create the world of the Greek myth, it will inspire all who watch. Like the above play this performance can be done in minimal space and at the end of the play the actors and director will answer questions from students.
