Chapter 5
THE RELATIVE MERITS
OF EACH APPLIANCE
THE WET CELL BATTERY
From all indications, the wet cell battery is clearly the "fast track" in terms of treating multiple sclerosis. It is the device recommended by the readings; it is the more powerful instrument; it does not depend on the body for its source of energy; it instills useful energy into the body; and it is probably less sensitive to negative thoughts and emotions on the part of the person using it. It is undoubtedly the treatment of choice in most cases of multiple sclerosis.
THE RADIAL APPLIANCE
If you have a relatively mild, nonparalytic form of multiple sclerosis, you might--as I did--get by with the radial appliance. It can be very effective as a weapon in the arsenal of vibratory medicine, particularly if the person using it has chosen a "spiritual path" and is in general accord with its use. It is considerably less expensive to operate, especially on a long-term basis; it is portable; there are no chemicals to mix periodically; when and if you finish using it to treat your MS, you can use it to your advantage without the solution jar; and you can even alternate its use both with and without the solution jar.
In my own case, I had consistently utilized the radial appliance for many years without the solution jar. Therefore, I was thoroughly familiar with its operation; my body was accustomed to the device; and I felt quite comfortable using it.
It was for the above reasons that I initially chose the radial appliance to treat my multiple sclerosis.
In retrospect, I believe that the wet cell battery would have produced more positive results more quickly, and, from that standpoint, would have been the wiser choice.
For persons at risk for developing MS (such as those with close relatives with the disease), the radial appliance might be an appropriate choice for use prophylactically (along the lines suggested in Chapter 7).
The radial appliance might also be a more appropriate choice in treating children and certain unusually sensitive individuals (who might find the wet cell battery too "harsh").
Finally, the radial appliance would make a good substitute for the wet cell when you are traveling.
