MPs KOSOVO LIES
Background
This site relates to the Kosovo "snow" job inflicted on the world. If you have and are determined to maintain the "world view" promulgated by the mainstream mass media on such matters go to the Disney site now, and be blissful in your continued ignorance.
How many people know, for example, that William Walker, the head of the NATO's Kosovo Verification Mission, was a former aide to Colonel Oliver North, was instrumental in drug-running (not ONLY illegal arms to Iran paid for the Contra war), and in the Central American Death-Squad "Culture"? He said, and I paraphrase, that he had never seen anything like the "massacre" (his INSTANT description on arriving at the scene) at Racak (Kosovo). This stretches credibility to breaking point, as he has been a consistent apologist for REAL US-backed (Contra) massacres on his old home ground in Central America.
... And final example, is Human Rights Watch (US "arm" of the Helsinki Human Rights groups) a bunch of pro-bono cash-strapped lawyers "doing their best" in an unfair world? Search the Web, go to their site, you will find that is not the case. Their heirarchy snakes through the foreign policy establishment of the US, through the State Department, and through the US Gvnt.'s propaganda arm, Radio Free Europe. George Soros ("the man who broke the Bank of England"), with known CIA links is one of their directors. A couple of things the "humanitarian" Soros has said:-
TED KOPPEL: "... I mean if you could have profited by destroying Malaysia's currency, would you have shrunk from that?"

The point I'm making with these examples is this: Quite rightly the CIA got tremendously "bad publicity" in their Latin American "heyday" for covertly aiding and sometimes creating "freedom movements" (aka death squads), as well as covertly funding "opposition" movements (try that in the USA!!!). Solution? Hell. Do it in the WIDE-OPEN: via "Human Rights", "Civil" Society groups, etc. Look at those two examples again. There are many more.
So why should you beleive me? Don't. Make up your own mind and web-search for yourself. In that way, even under the accusation that I am a conspiracy theorist, (just because you're a conspiracy theorist, doesn't mean there isn't a conspiracy), you will likely become confused trying to decide if I'm of the left-wing, right-wing or any other variety. In addition, if you find out for yourself, that will enable me to minimize the number of "self-accusatory" links I need to make.
For sure, there are "left" and "right" and "other variety" links here - for no other reason than convenience. In every relevant case a double-check on the materials with other unrelated web-sites has been made, in one instance, the mere convenience of a link to a mainstream article (Spectator - article unarchived on their site) is the reason. Hey, I can read & quote from a newspaper without agreeing with that paper's whole agenda.
Who am I? Suffice it to say I "have never been a member of The Communist Party, any Fascist or right-wing party (British Labour Party excluded), CIA, KGB, Ustashi (web-search!), MI5, or MI6". I have never knowingly met a Serb, a Croat, a Bosnian, or Macedonian. That said, this site is not about me, so I won't waste unnecessary words there; it is about what I beleive to be one of the worst crimes against humanity since WW II.
So where does Jane Griffiths, "Labour" MP for Reading East come into this? I was in the Labour Party in Reading up until the early '90s, when I left to live in the "land of the free, & the home of the brave". As such, I think it's fair to say I knew Jane (and her ex-husband and children) well, at least within the context of Labour Party activities.
"Googling" for something else, I literally stumbled on an A-Z of British MPs. Almost on a whim, I homed in on the two Reading MPs (Martin Salter, Reading West being the other). This led me to Jane Griffiths' Kosovo Diary. This I felt obliged to respond to, as I shall continue to do until the offending web-pages are corrected / removed.
Where such circumstances arise, I would encourage people to write similarly to the political representative concerned.

I guess, as an unnaturalised ex-pat Brit. living in the US, you are the closest that I "have" as an MP. Hence when I more or less stumbled on a Web link on Brit. MPs voting records I was curious as to your activities over recent years. This eventually led me to your web-page describing your Kosovo visit at:-
To say the least, I have some issues with this (your comments in quotes):-

- Well, there WAS a welfare system before the west decided to destroy Yugoslavia at the end of the 1980s.

- What evidence so you have that Serb shelling caused that destruction? The KLA apart, NATO had been bombing for 78 days! Did you find shell fragments with Serb writing on them? Or were you just taking the word of your KFOR minders?
"It is very hard for us in the UK to think of Serbs as a threatened minority - I suspect the reaction of most people would be "they instituted ethnic cleansing, they had it coming" but that is what they are here..."
- Yes most people might have that "reaction" - given the wildly unsubstantiated mainstream western press version of things fed to them by NATO, by such pathetic apologies for human beings such as Penny Marshall of the ITN branch of the propaganda-ministrie, and emphasised by highly irresponsible web-pages such as yours:-
admitted, Bosnia, not Kosovo conflict, but beginning the DEMONIZATION of Serbs.

- Surprise, surprise, organized crime is the biggest danger in a city 90% populated by "new" Albanians. You mean the criminal KLA, created and backed by the CIA for over a decade. And where are the Albanians who were originally there, and could they claim their homes back again? No chance. By the way, MANY more indigenous Albanians were terrorised out of their homes by the KLA than by Serbs because this fitted with the fictions being told to the world.
(Both a US undersecretary of state, and a British political figure - details escape me - described the KLA as a terrorist organization before the Kosovo war began)

- WHAT Serb ethnic cleansing? Again you are propagating a lie. Remember the "100,000's" bodies ("slain Albanians") we were promised after the the Nato bombing? LESS bodies, Serbs among them, were found than would be expected from natural causes and BATTLE casualties to be expected during a "minor" ongoing civil war in the relevant period - and some of those were "rigged". Most of the media went VERY quiet about the lack of mass graves - probably hoping, correctly, that most people would have forgotten what they were "promised":-
The CIA CREATED the KLA aka KPC - from gangs of cut-throats & kidnappers wondering around Albania. - Now look at the trouble the murdering KLA bastards have caused in Macedonia.
The CIA also funnelled SUITCASES full of money to the Serb opposition to Milosevic - they didn't want to take the risk after he was DEMOCRATICALLY elected 3 times, that he would be elected a 4th time. I'd like to see a foreign power try that in the good ol' USA. No, seriously, I really WOULD LIKE TO SEE THAT.
By the standards of behaviour of the leaders of countries, Milosevic is INNOCENT.
The war criminals are: ex-Pres "BJ" Clinton, the disgusting Wesley Clark, Madeleiner (sic) Albright (Ugh), James Rubin, Jamie Shea, George Robertson, Tony Blair, Robin Cook, etc, etc; Christiane Amanpour (see Albright comments), any other unspeakably deceptive journalists such as Penny Marshall, and ANY MP who recklessly propagates unsubstantiated events or, in fact, just PLAIN LIES on these matters.
*!* The most outrageously shameful fact in relation to Milosevic is that the Kosovo charges of the ad-hoc Hague "Tribunal" (ICTY) date FROM exactly the date that the NATO bombing began. So the bombing was by way of punishment of a "rogue" state for "infractions" that began at the start of the bombing campaign!?! That's like incarcerating a felon for a felony committed AFTER the date of incarceration! [see note*!*] Meanwhile the USA had been unique in consistently vetoing the creation of an all encompassing International Court - because that would encompass them too.
Since the Kosovo "Protection" Force (aka KLA, aka gangster-terrorist-pimps) took over Kosovo "monitored" by KFOR more than 100 priceless Orthodox churches (Serb), like the one you mentioned, have been destroyed (some monitoring, huh?); and child sex-slave brothels sprouted up all over the place, run by the drug-dealing KPC. No doubt "our" KFOR boys have been finding some comfort there, (la la la), probably including some of the tin-soldier marines who extended their hospitality to you. Now, that's what I CALL payback.
I am terribly saddened that the Party I used to be a member of, which is how I first met you, has so cavalierly partaken in one of the worst crimes against humanity since WW II. The BEST that can be said is that foolishly taking the word of a few cut-throats and kidnappers (KLA), Britain's Blair-Witch project consisted of bombing a modestly prosperous, peaceful, united & ethnically diverse, socialist country back into the stone-age. It was the "socialist" part that was the real sin, of course.
You are not "Joe Soap" from just down the road, neither are you a(n ITN) "journalist". You are an MP. You have, or ought to have, a bounded duty NOT to propagate lies, distortions or even UNSUBSTANTIATED accounts to your constituents and others.
I'd like to wish everyone in the Labour Party a Happy New Year, but to be quite honest, I don't wish them to have a happier one than those in the former Yugoslavia, or the innocent incarcerated Milosevic.

*!* Note: I was unaware at the time of writing this letter that the demonstrably proven faked Racak 'massacre' had been added to the list of charges. This remains the ONLY specific Kosovo charge against Milosevic dated prior to NATO's bombing campaign.
