Heartbreaking Loss to end the Season

The Puckers just needed to hang on for 15 minutes last night. They had a 4 goal lead and just a period to go and a place in the Championship Series would have been reserved for them. It was just not meant to be. At the end of the third period the score was knotted up at 7 goals. For those of you who remember last season, it was deja vu all over again. The only thing missing this season was Sambo hitting the post. Once again the Puckers could not get the game winning goal and bowed out of the playoffs. The MPs didn't bring their "A" game on Wednesday but they never stopped hustling or giving it their all. A special thanks goes out to Pete Bugni. Every time there's a big game this man comes up with at least a half dozen saves to keep us in it. Pete you are the man.
