Regents Reading 0198
This website is designed to assist students who have not been successful in getting the required 61 needed to pass the Regents' exam. Since the exam covers four distinct categories, the website will address these areas: Vocabulary, Literal Comprehension, Inferential Comprehension, and Analysis. Students are allowed only 60 minutes to read the ten passages and answer the 60 multiple choice questions. So it is extremely important that you learn how to approach taking standardized tests that force you to read for key words and main ideas rather than reading each and every word in the selection. One of our goals is to isolate your weakest skills and develop learning strategies to help you strengthen them.
