Please contact us for availability and pricing on our yorkies.
At Moondance Yorkies, we breed to the AKC Standard of Yorkshire Terriers and all our yorkies are a good representation of the breed. We have researched and compared pedigrees of all our yorkies to insure excellent health and temperament. The health and well-being of our yorkies will always be our first consideration. All our puppies are raised in our home and we put all our efforts into making sure they grow into well-adjusted happy yorkies.
Our puppies never leave until they are at least 10 to 13 weeks old, and the tinier they are the longer we keep them. The longer a puppy stays with their mom and littermates the more confident and outgoing they become. They learn from their mom and littermates during their time together and this is invaluable to a well-adjusted yorkie.
We sell our pet quality yorkies with limited registration and a spay/neuter contract. If you are interested in a show puppy, please contact us for further information. All of our puppies come with a health guarantee that covers life threatening hereditary problems. We do not guarantee size, weight, or color. All puppies will be Micro-Chipped
Our puppies are examined by our veterinarian several times before going to their new home. We do not vaccinate for leptospirosis (Lepto) due to high incidence of allergic reactions in the toy breeds. All our puppies will be up to date on shots and worming and started on heartworm prevention. We do not give more than one vaccine at a time to reduce the incident of an allergic reaction.
Pet insurance can help you afford the very best care for dog or cat, and those unexpected emergency visits that always seem to occur when you least expect it. Some plans take care of your pets expenses ranging from accidents and illness to complete wellness care such as annual checkups, vaccinations, and flea and heartworm preventative medications. Pet owners need to have reasonable expectations and realize the insurance will usually cover approximately 50% to 75% for each incident. The policy will usually pay for itself if your pet has one major medical incident in their lifetime. Pet insurance may not be for everyone, but it can be a very good investment. I hope you never have to use pet insurance, but you may want to consider the cost of not having coverage in a medical crisis. Can you afford a very large vet bill to save your pets life, or will you be forced to choose euthanasia due to finances?
