Send me money to help pay for my surgery! PLEASE!!
My name is Jamie. I am a 20 year old college student in Central Florida. I could sit here and give you some serious lines of bull as to why I need money, try to appeal to your emotions, and try to make you feel so guilty or so touched that you just have to donate to me; but I'm not going to do that. Well, not completely! But really, I will be straight about why I am even bothering.
First of all, I need money to pay for my books, my tuition, and all the other wonderful expenses that I seem to stumble across during my daily travels. Then again, who doesn't?
Most importantly, however, I have surgery to look forward to. I say "look forward to" because currently I cannot afford to have it. The surgery itself is a corrective and preventitive type that will keep my spine from curving in the future. My problem is that it is not covered by my insurance, so I will have to pay for it in full, which is an expensive $7,000. And yes, I am doing my part... I have a job. But with all my other bills to keep up on, it is a slow process.
So, getting to my point, I am asking for anyone who should so desire, to donate to my surgery fund! But let me make it clear of what you will be getting in return:
**The pure satisfaction of knowing you have done something good for someone else.
**The opportunity to get rid of that dirty money! Hey, it carries a lot of germs, so really I'm helping you too!
**The chance to call yourself a "donor" in pride. We all know that donating money is so much easier and virtually painfree when compared to donating things like blood, lungs, livers, and hearts!
**And really that's about it!
So, if you have any extra pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, dollars, or all of the above to spare, but you haven't found the right thing to spare it on, I can take that heavy burden off your shoulders right now!!! All you have to do is gather those unsightly (and dirty) pieces of currency and mail them to:
