Lady Mohawk Basketball 2007 Sectional Champs
WALDRON LADY MOHAWK BASKETBALL
Dear Coach,
The Waldron Lady Mohawk basketball team will be hosting the 2nd Annual Waldron Summer Shootout on June 8th and 9th at the Shelbyville Girl’s Inc. and Boys Club. We had 8 teams participate in last year’s shootout with great success and we are looking to increase that number this year. The cost of the shootout is $225.00. The entry fee will help pay for officials, scorebook keepers, clock keepers, etc… There will also be a Free-throw and 3 point shooting contest this year. We are also working on a guest speaker and a cookout on Friday night. Details on those will be sent as they come available.
SHOOTOUT RULES:
1. Two 20 minute running halves.
2. Clock will stop last minute of each half, if under 15 points.
3. We will use licensed IHSAA officials.
4. Each team will receive 1 full time-out per half.
5. 5 minute half times.
6. 5 minute warm-up.
7. Each team is guaranteed at least 4 or 5 ( depending on number of teams ).
8. Sportsmanship is expected and demanded.
9. Directions available upon request.
We are trying to make this a very competitive shootout. To insure a spot in the Shootout, coaches need to send entry form and entry fee of $225.00 as soon as possible. Make check payable to Trailblazers to Excellence.

After all spots are filled, I will send out your game schedule and waiver forms for each player planning to participate. Waiver forms are due by your first game on
June 8th.
