Ugandan Mission Aid Project
Welcome to the Mission Aid Project Website! We are a non-profit organization established in 2000 to promote the plight of Ugandan orphans. According to country population statistics, there has been a surge in the number of orphans within the past ten years. By the year 2010, as many as one-third of Ugandans under the age of 18 will be orphans. Most of these will have lost one or both parents to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The children affected by this epidemic are emotionally vulnerable, financially desperate, face a greater risk of being abused, and are exposed to stigmatization and neglect. They lose everything that once offered them comfort, security, and hope for the future. Our goal at MAP is to provide that hope and security by meeting the financial, educational, medical, and housing needs of this vulnerable group. Won't you help us? Until all are saved, together we can save lives!
