Show Details
A brief band instumental intro is followed by Silver Tongue which grooves along with its usual power. Woman From Tokyo is up next followed by Gillan saying its nice to be in Poland again and dedicating the whole show to the Doctors and Nurses of a Hospital they had been to. I've Got Your Number precedes Strange Kind Of Woman which in turn is followed by a fantastic rendition of Bananas. All good stuff.
Knockin At Your Back Door is introduced with comments about "we had run out of ointment...." Contact lost is followed by a solo from Steve Morse then straight into The Well Dressed Guitar. Don Aireys solo, with Star Wars and all the usual bits and bobs, leads us into Perfect Strangers. Highway Star has a short snippet of Paint It Black inserted by Steve Morse at the begining. A short solo from Don Aiery precedes Lazy (Dons intro prior to Steve joining in is way out of tune). Ian Paice does a drum solo during this number.
"We're going to do a blues now in the absence of pink" introduces When A Blind Man Cries. Always a great number this is a shortened version but no less effective. Steves playing is very restrained here. Space Truckin' is short but sweet and is followed immediately by Smoke On The Water which brings the set to a close. Encores are Hush & Black Night which includes a Roger Glover bass solo, Hit The Road Jack and the I love my dog ditty that Ian Gillan seems to like so much. "Unbelievable...we love you bye bye".
All in all a good show with all the bits in the right places.

Bootleg
The complete show over two discs. Some very slight skips in tracks which is more to do with the transfer of the recording to cd than a fault of the discs themselves. Nothing is lost and it does not remove anything from the listening experience.
