Very powerful Highway Star to begin. Ian Paice starts the drum intro to Woman From Tokyo before Strange Kind Of Woman. I'll keep the chat really short precedes Silver Tongue. Solid version of this. "Here's another way of using the Blarney Stone", takes us into Knockin' At Your Back Door. Mouth Organ intro straight into House Of Pain. Good solos from Don and Steve here. Gillan does his tentpole intro prior to Lazy. The story of STS-107 introduces Contact Lost which is segued into Haunted. Space Truckin' is announced as, "And as if by magic this is the song that Kalpana requested to wake up for every twelve hour shift", a great solo from Steve precedes this song. "I gave Ian my whiskey the other day" provides the intro to I Got Your Number. "Oh! there you are, I completely lost you for a moment" leads into Steve's Solo and The Well Dressed Guitar.
Don's solo spot next includes La Marseillaise where Steve joins in briefly. Very powerful Perfect Strangers follows. "I don't want to taste your poison but we all came down to Montreux..."Smoke On The Water. Storming version. Hush begins the encores and includes a short drum solo from Ian Paice. Roger begins the next song with a bass with solo leading us into Hit The Road Jack, then onto Black Night proper. Nice jams throughout including Rock and Roll by Gary Glitter. (Great song shame about the composer). "Bye bye thank you you have been fantastic. Au revoir". Great Show.
