Show Details
Silver Tongue is performed as an instumental due to a problem with the vocals, very powerful none the less. The problems continue with the vocals through Woman From Tokyo.
Lots of audience booing due to the poor vocal sound at the end of the song. Gillan then thanks the audience for helping them out as the mic comes back. I Got Your Number follows and a cheer from the audience as Gillans vocals come through loud and clear.

"It was an embryonic relationship, she was quite delicious introduces a swinging Strange Kind Of Woman. Bananas follows with superbe playing by Steve and the boys.
KAYBD is introduced as "It can still bring a tear to your eye" this is played by the numbers.
Steves Contact Lost/Well Dressed Guitar is up next quickly followed by Dons Solo/ Star Wars and a very powerful Perfect Strangers, always a highlight.

A mid set Highway Star is unusual but seems to work, it does here anyway. Space Truckin' is it usual funky self, short sharp and to the point. Straight into Smoke On The Water. Gillan thanks the crew for sorting out the problem at the beginning of the show.

The encores follow with Speed King which begins with Gillan announcing "Dearly beloved we are gathered here tonight ....to Rock n' Roll". Fantastic battle between Steve and Don and a cool solo from Roger.

A straight run through of Hush ends the performance. A good show all round even with the technical problems.
