The band has not played together since Plymouth on the 17th of November 2004. You would not think it on this performance.

Silver Tongue is now justifyable established as a strong opening number, the riff just hits the right groove from the off.
"Mercy Beaucoup..lovely to be here..in a tent..we love camping" is Ian Gillans intro to Strange Kind Of Woman, terrific performance from Steve and Don.
I've Got Your Number is up next followed by Demons Eye which is introduced with the quip "everyone has got a number of lives..." Then "I got you underwear thanks very much , I'm wearing it now..." (wheres the DVD when you need it..)

A blistering Bananas follows. Contact Lost leads into Steves solo spot and The Well Dressed Guitar. Dons Solo is missing the Star Wars theme tonight, bringing us to the very powerful Perfect Strangers.
The Machine Head trio of Highway Star, Space Truckin' and Smoke on The Water bring the show to a close save for the encores which tonight consist of Hush & Black Night.

Theres really not much you can say to about a Deep Purple performance these days except Powerful, Tight and too short...
