( .. my pet squirrel "Gripper" passed away at 1:03 AM, July 20, 2004. He was born March 15, 1992 and lived with me for a little over twelve years.
I thank GOD for having sent me such a precious little gift of NATURE. He taught me that while in a controlled setting and while being bonded with a curious and caring human a squirrel will reveal an intelligence far more detailed then anyone could ever imagine and that that bond's emotionalism being not that different from any other mammal's emotionalism, including that of humans.
Gripper showed me he had a "heart" and in my "mind's eye" I believe THAT fact should help bring bearing on all other living entities of nature. That is if man in his future is in a cultural position of advanced civilities then such an advanced state could possibly see a collective connection to all entities of consciousness. Thereby man finding or coming closest to a divine like, conscious power that would be an additional, formerly unknown and potentially tamable force, different from all other known forces in NATURE (science).
Gripper was very special in that he was a "prince of a squirrel" and will now be forever missed... "rest in peace my dear little partner in nature".
A memorial was submitted on the night of his passing. The memorial has a photo attached. The photo was taken 6 months prior "Gripper's" departure. It is located at the following webpage:
