The Kingdom of The Father & The Son
1Ch 22:8 But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.
1 Chronicles 17:4 Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in: 5 For I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another. 6 Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars?
1 Chronicles 17:9 Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning, 10 And since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I TELL THEE THAT THE LORD WILL BUILD THEE AN HOUSE. 11 And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I WILL RAISE UP THY SEED AFTER THEE, WHICH SHALL BE OF THY SONS; and I will establish HIS KINGDOM. 12 HE SHALL BUILD ME AN HOUSE, and I will stablish his throne for ever. 13 I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: 14 But I WILL SETTLE HIM IN MINE HOUSE AND IN MY KINGDOM FOR EVER: and his throne shall be established for evermore.
Looks like God is talking about TWO HOUSES, one that the LORD will build for the seed of David, and another one that the seed of David will build for the LORD, which God will set "him" in God's house and in God's kingdom and God will establish "his throne" FOR EVER. The God tells David "He shall build a house FOR MY NAME, and HE SHALL BE MY SON, AND I WILL BE HIS FATHER.
Hebrews 3:1-4) Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus; 2 who was faithful to him [God] who appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house. 3 For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as HE WHO BUILT THE HOUSE HAS MORE HONOR THAN THE HOUSE. 4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. {{I TELL THEE THAT THE LORD WILL BUILD THEE AN HOUSE}} <---- 1Chron 17:10
1Sa 2:35 And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I WILL BUILD HIM A SURE HOUSE; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.
Hbr 3:5 And MOSES verily was faithful IN ALL HIS HOUSE, AS A SERVANT, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; 6 But CHRIST AS A SON OVER HIS OWN HOUSE; WHOSE HOUSE ARE WE, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. 7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, 8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. 10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. 11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) 12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Therefore, the house David's seed will build, is an earthly house (the house Christ prepared here on earth, which is of the spirit of God, not made with hands), which God will gather and settle in His own house, in God's heavenly kingdom (Act 7:56), FOR EVER. As it was written in (1Chronicles 17:14) But I WILL SETTLE HIM IN MINE HOUSE AND IN MY KINGDOM FOR EVER.
Isa 66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? SEE ALSO: Act 7:48, 49
1Cr 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
1Cr 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
Act 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. 52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers: 53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
Act 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, LAY NOT THIS SIN TO THEIR CHARGE. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
