PART 2: 'God forgive them...'
1Pe 5:6 HUMBLE YOURSELVES THREFORE UNDER THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD, that He may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; FOR HE CARETH FOR YOU.
... unlike the false High Priests, scribes and Pharisees in Jesus time that placed their pride and glory of men before God so they can keep their high places in Rome.
HINT: Man made religions and governments still do the same. When you support their churches with their false doctrines that only benefit their own skin, and join their man made wars by shedding inocent blood to defend the false kingdoms of this world, you are kept under the bondage of sin. In the scriptres, God warns us of what will happen to those who rejected Him as their King and protector when we chose to follow after the ways of the world in 1 Samuel - Chapter 8.
The false leaders of this world love to keep you under the bondge of sin. So they can rule over you for their own benefit. If you stopped serving them, then their offices in their governments and their false churches will close down and they wll be out of business.
Therefore, keep God's ways, for "He cares about you" and wants to free you from their prisons. This is why God freed His people through Moses who were kept under the bondage of the Egyptians, and through Christ those who were kept under bondage of the Roman Empire, because "their ways" represent Babylon The Great. God cries out for you, in Rev 18:4, but who listens?
1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
This is why Jesus kept saying "Ye must be born again from above". Not from the will of the flesh, but through the anointing of the Spirit, by the will of God. This is also the reason Christ said in (John 3:14) "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:" God told Moses to make a brass serpent and put it on top of a stick so whoever sees it will be healed from the deadly snakebites, for a good reason. Because God's people based their faith on things they could see, as idols, in order to believe. This is why Jesus used that scripture to discribe "the lifting of the son of man into son of God", through faith in Christ's death on the cross, which many have witnessed with their own eyes..
His own disciples did not believe in his resurrection three days after Christ died on the cross. This is why Christ told them...
Luk 24:25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Luk 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, 46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And ye are witnesses of these things. 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
Heb 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
1Pe 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
1Cr 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
Don't vote for earthly leaders that do not represent God's Ways. Don't fight in their man made wars that shed innocent blood by giving them power to rule over you.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
