Mellow Pan
Born in Puerto Rico, Tony Nazario started playing Steel Drums at the age of 12. Latter he bacame a rock musician with a local band known as Apache. After coming out of the US Navy Tony went back into rock as a bass player. With his band they play at the clubs in the island. One day Tony decided to get back into the Steel Drums, his music roots. That's when Mellow Pan Band was born. A five piece band that became regulars at the best hotels in his native island. Hotels like Caribe Hilton, West Inn, El Conquistador, Paradisus Melia to name a few. Tony has also play at the Souther Pines Golf Resort and Forth Bragg in N.C.
As a solo Tony is the entertainer for weddings, birthdays or just any tipe of event. Playing with backing tracks and sounding as is the full band was there. Mellow Pan can be hire as a solo or up to five piece band. The repertorie consist of Calypso, Soca, Reggae, Salsa, Tropical and Pop tunes. Mellow Pan as the name imply is a Mellow Sound wich your guest will enjoy. Mellow Pan is also as they say in Puerto Rico "Happy Music for Happy People."
