Welcome to the website of Melbourne Australia Youth Arts Dicussion Group.
I've searched all over the internet but had no luck in finding a group which provides youths in Melbourne with the opportunity to meet and discuss the various disciplines of classical arts. So, I decided to create this group.
The scopes of discussion include but not limited to art history, artists, musicians, musical instruments, classical music, orchestra, opera, dance, drama, classical theater ...
Membership Criteria
Members need not to be professionals. Just those who are enthusiatic about classical arts. However, ability to read and play music + knowledge of a particular discipline of classical arts would definitely be a plus.
Activities
First Meeting: Each member will prepare a list of topics which they would want to learn during the course of our meetings.
A list of topics will be compiled and distributed to each member. In addition, each member will be randomely assigned a topic which he/she will do an independent research on during the week and give a presentation to the group in the following meeting. After the presentations, we will have discussions and may raise questions.
