* Extra Lives in Snow Base.
Code Content "After defeating the Frost Walrus (an easy task) you will notice that you can clime the left wall all the way up. Do so, Dash Jump or Double Jump to the right. use the Lightining Web or Double Jump to reach the cliff. Continue right, picking up Large energy tanks and one extra life, untill you get to the other side of the cliff. When your coming down the cliff do not jump out to the right, hug the the right wall using your Air Dash and Wall Skid. (You attempt to hang on the wall but slide down it slowly.) You will find a second life, pick it up using the appering and dissappering ledges. Escape and repeat until you have full lives (9).
* MegaMan's Armor.
Code Content "At the character selection screen highlight MegaMan, then press CIRCLE 2 times, then LEFT 6 times, then press and hold L1 and R2 at the same time and press START (holding L1 and R2 until the game begins.)
* Megaman's Ultimate Armor.
First do the MegaMan's Armor code, then play through the first two intro stages. Play the jungle stage. go halfway down the second waterfall and go right. Enter the capsule and you'll get the ultimate armor along with nova strike and the aerial attack!
* Unlimited Lives for MegaMan X.
Go to Frost Walrus stage in Area 1.Now go to the part where the ice passages disappear and turn to the left and get the one-up and repeat the process until you have enough lives.
Unlimited Lives for Zero Code Content "Here's a great tip for you Zero players if you're ever in trouble with the bosses in the game, especially Sigma! To get this, go to the Cyberspace stage at any point and race through the first stage with a Rank "S". Pick up the extra life, go to your weapons menu, and choose Escape. From here, save without continuing and go to Cyberspace again with the same trick. As soon as you get enough lives, you can save whenever you want or, if your lives are nearly depleted, you can choose to go to Cyberspace again before going to the next stage. Sweet!
* Zero's Ultimate Armor.
At the character selection screen highlight Zero. Hold R1 and press RIGHT six times. Release R1, then hold CIRCLE and press X.

PROGRAMMER'S CHEATS
* Rolling invincibility
While playing a game, hold L1 or R1 and jump to roll to either side. During this time, Megaman will be momentarily invincible.
* Unlimited money (method 1)
Play the beast hunter game at the studio and get 4000 gold for completing grade A . This may be repeated to collect an unlimited amount of money.
* Unlimited money (method 2)
Locate the garbage can and pop can on the ground near the Jetlad Bakery on the Shopping Street. Then, kick the can into the bakery and speak to the woman inside to receive $1,000. This may be repeated to collect an unlimited amount of money.
* Unlimited money (method 3)
Doing this may cause your armor to go black, but, go to the Flutter after defeating Boss Bruno. Search the T.V. There's a bank robbery Downtown. Go there by foot (Roll can't take you right now) and you should find a red car being chased by a police car. The game allows you to use your Buster Gun in the town. Blow up the red car and a trunk of money falls out. If you grab it and talk to the Inspector, you get only 20,000 zenny and your armor stays blue. If you grab the trunk and try leaving, it asks if you want to steal the money. If you say YES, you get 200,000 zenny and black armor.
* Unlimited money (method 4)
To get some extra cash real simple, go to an area with kinda easy enemies like a ruin or something like that. Defeat the enemies getting the refractors (crystals that count for zenny which is money). Then, leave the area and return and the enemies will be back for you to clobber again.
* Bonus options
Beat the game to unlock an additional option (in green) on the main menu that allows the game to be played at a more difficult level. Beat the game on the new difficulty level to unlock another option (in yellow) that allows the game to be played at an easier difficulty level, with dash boots and full left arm weapon capability.
* Control camera
At various times during the briefing sequences, "Camera Change" and "Camera Free" will be displayed. Press Square or Triangle to change the zoom. Press Circle to change views. Press X to stop the scene.
* New Armor
To get extra armor, you have to do bad things. To get it quick, kick the can at Apple Market behind the counter of Jetlag Bakery a bunch of times. Sooner or later, your armor should turn navy blue. To change the armor back to normal blue, go to Uptown's T.V. Station. Play the Balloon Fantasy game and beat Rank A. If that doesn't work, play Beast Hunter and beat Rank A. That should turn your armor back to normal.

* Extra Health in Stage 1
Do this after you go in the water area in stage 1. If you have bad health, go backwards and keep going until you find a group of trees with a health between them. Destroy the trees to get the health.
* Extra Life
At the Clown Man's level kick a mega ball into the clown's mouth for an extra life.
* Super Jump
Use a superjump to reach places too high for a normal jump. However, you cannot jump straight up (you must be moving forward), and you can only do it if you haven't used up all your megaball.
To execute the super jump, jump while moving towards a ledge.
