I run two award winning fresh hot donut and mini pancake (poffertjes)stalls.
I sell 5 FRESH HOT DONUTS £1.50
10 MINI SWEET PANCAKES £2 / 5 for £1
With a variety of topping and dips including to suit all tastes.
The most populor being real melted chocolate in a 2oz pot and sold for 50p
I also offer hot and cold drinks - I use only recyclable card cups, biodegradable bags and ensure all tea and coffee is fair trade.
I offer organic and fair tade ingredients, if it is suited to the event. This sometimes has to be reflected in the price, especially if a large ammount is required for the pitch.
The units run on LPG gas so do not require any electricity supply,I do not need mains water supply as I carry my own water containers.
Consequently we place very little demand on the utilities of any event. I trade at local events, festivals, steam rallies,etc. Which have included; Maker sunshine festival; Holifield festival; Golowan festival; Newlyn fish festival; Flora day; Trevithick day to name a few. I am an approved trader by Deborah & Martyn (D&M)events, and also have a licence to trade in Truro for 7 months of the year. This is my second year of trading and have a lot new exciting events booked for 2008, including Lanydrock festival the tall ships and cornwall first ever gay pride festival. Also new for this year is the (poffertjes)mini dutch pancakes that are cooked on a copper plate 48 at a time, they are great fun to watch as well as very delicious.
I have always been very well received and built up a lot of regular customers who enjoy a delicious value for money product served with a smile. References can be supplied, and the menu altered if necessary.
