McCOY'S KARATE STUDIO
Learn the traditional martial art of karate handed down and passed on for generations. Frankie C. McCoy, a 7th Degree Black Belt and Master of RyuKyu Kempo Karate is the Chief Instructor in Southwest Virginia and is one of the highest ranking female Black Belts in the United States. Sensei McCoy began studying the martial arts in August of 1971 on Long Island, New York under Master Eli M. McCoy, and became his first student to earn Black Belt status. Pictured above is Sensei McCoy promoting Dennis Sluss of Wise, Va. to 4th Degree Black Belt. He is the first person to achieve this rank with Sensei McCoy.
Sensei McCoy teaches adults and specializes in teaching children of all ages and the handicapped.
