-Why is the lowest common multiple sometimes larger than the greatest common factor?
-How do I solve a multiple step equation?
-How do I convert from kilometers to millimeters?
-How do I write the square root of a non-perfect square in simplest form?
-How do I compute the probability of event one or event two occurring?
-How do I find the length of the leg of a right triangle given the hypotenuse and the other leg?
You can be successful at answering the above and other Praxis questions, but It requires that you take action.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Sandy Sherman has resided in Stratford, CT for over thirty years with her husband where they have raised their two children. Having taught in elementary, middle and high school settings for over twenty-five years, she has an understanding of the needs of mathematics students in various age ranges and ability levels.
Sandra received her bachelor's degree from Temple University, her master�s degree from Southern Connecticut State University and her second master�s degree from Fairfield University in Computers in Education. She is certified to teach any subject in grades K-8 and mathematics in grades 7-12.
In addition to teaching a S.A.T. Mini Course at Sterling House Community Center in Stratford, and a series of Saturday S.A.T. classes for Shelton, Sandra has been tutoring adults and children in her private tutoring practice. She tutors adults who need to improve their math skills in order to advance professionally in fields such as education, nursing, real estate, carpentry, and the military services.
In addition to presenting workshops on technology and mathematics, she was a Connecticut Celebration of Excellence recipient and was awarded the title of Technology Teacher of the Year in Connecticutï sponsored by Microsoft. She has been awarded multiple grants, including one from ATOMIC (Association of Teachers of Mathematics in Connecticut).
