Collett Family Cemetery

For over 150 years, people have been burried in the Collett Family Cemetery in Asher, Ky. As of yet, there are 35 known graves on the site. In June of 2003, I had the privilege of accompaning my Great-uncle Fred Collett up to the site in order that I may uncover the mysteries shrouding the graves of those marked only with a flat rock protruding from the soil. And, many others whose grave stones have been warn away by so many years of weathering. Now, however, with the addition of my late brother Dustin Clay Collett (May 7, 2005) There are now seven generations of the Collett family placed upon the hallowed ground. May he rest in peace...
