The 3rd photo is of The Aqueduct which carries a canal across Duck Creek. The canal runs through the middle of Metamora Indiana, along the railroad tracks. A flat boat is used on the canal, pulled by 2 horses to carry passengers (tourist) showing them what it was like to travel by canal. The canal was originally used before the railroad to carry goods to Cincinnati. Although the canal never did reach Cincinnati, Ohio, it served a great need along it's length. But soon the railroad came through the town and the canal was not used.

Hotel

The 4th photo is the hotel where Charles Blaine Williams (Sr.) and Mary Thorpe went on their honeymoon in December, 1905.
