THE HISTORY OF THE 007 SERIES:

In the world of fast pace and quick moving action there are many different games to choose from. one of the most popular game series is the 007 series. The 007 series had it's first major hit in 1998 with Goldeneye. Goldeneye was no doubt one of the best games for it's time. It mastered one of the hardest "must have" for a classic of any genere. Good one player AND good multiplayer. And while the Golendeneye phase lasted seemingly forever the success of it's followers like Tommorow Never Dies died out almost before it even began. Today the new game for the desperate 007 gamming series is Nightfire(read the next section for reviews on Nightfire.

007 NIGHTFIRE:

007 Nightfire is trying desperately to become what none of the 007 games since Goldeneye have achieved. While Nightfire isn't as big as a hit as Goldeneye was in it's time it has done better than I thought it would. 007 Nightfire is the best 007 game since Goldeneye. However I wouldn't say it's as good as Goldeneye was 5 years ago when it came out. Nightfire was able to accomplish an average single player mode and an excellent multiplayer mode. Nightfire seems to be more techno than it's predecessors with a level on a space station, remote contol helocopters with homming missles and a pretty cool laser. I give Nightfire a 3/5 for good multiplayer, cool cars, average graphics and average single player.

THE HISTORY OF THE MEDAL OF HONOR SERIES:

One of the less known game series is the MOH or Medal of Honor game series. This series had it's first hit in the mid to late 90's with its debue for playstation1, the game was simply called Medal of Honor. This game was a semi-hit, it wasn't a big hit but it wasn't an average game either, it was somewhere in between. What it lacked? Multiplayer. This problem still buggs even the newest MOH game which is called Medal of Honor Front Line.(see the next section)

MEDAL OF HONOR FRONT LINE:

Possibly the best MOH game ever made, Front Line is a blazing realistic WWII game with awsome graphics and cool weapons. Front Line is the EXACT opposite of 007 Nightfire. Front line, unlike Nightfire has awsome graphics, also unlike Nightfire it has very realistic weapons that you would actually have seen in a real life WWII setting. Finnally, unlike Nightfire it has an awsome 1player mode with an "acceptable for ps1" 2 player mode. I rate this game 4/5; if this game had Nightfire's 2 player this game would be the Goldeneye of today. (Keep reading this collumn because I will soon be putting up cheats for this game and for Nighfire.)

WEBSITES LINKS:

The Medal of Honor and Nightfire website both have website radios. Check them out it's pretty cool. The best one is "The Drinking Song" on The Medal of Honor website!
